10/10Very nice and cozy place to eat in the center of the canals area of Amsterdam. The food is excellent and we loved the french fries. Their staff is also really attentive.

3.5/10There was a guest on the next table who was unwell, which is obviously not the fault of the restaurant but I do feel that some acknowledgement that we were subject to someone vomiting in to their dish at the table would have been appropriate, and an ambulance should have been called sooner. I would respectfully suggest that our server needs some training in customer service - she was inattentive to detail e.g. when i requested another bottle of wine, she took the existing bottle in the cooler away without checking whether there was any left (there was); she brought it back when I asked her to, but it was clear that she didn’t think it was worth the effort. When she was clearing the table, she moved dirty dishes from another table and put them in front of me whilst she decided which order to carry the dishes downstairs. The food was delicious, the service unfortunately didn’t come close to expectations even putting aside the drama with the other guest being ill.

5.5/10While outside and from first glance the had a nice ambience, there were many small things that made our visit not so pleasant. The smell from the toilet area is quite noticeable in the whole restaurant, the service was okay-ish, but since we were sitting close to the bar, we could hear the waiters argue about something for the entire time, seemingly unbothered that there were guests. Lastly one of our steaks was overcooked (more than "well-done) where we had ordered "meduim".

10/10This is an awesome restaurant! The staff is very friendly and the food was amazing. The service is also top-tier. Perfect restaurant for small gatherings or date nights - the ambiance is great!

6/10We stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. We were back in Amsterdam for the day today - 1/1/24 - and were looking forward to another great dinner but unfortunately things weren’t the same. The food was ok but the biggest turn off was the cleanliness of the dinning room and bathrooms. Specifically the large stains all over the fabric booths and the chair cushions were also falling apart - pieces were stuck to my coat. We’ll try another place for dinner next time we’re in town.

10/10Everyone was very kind, since the hostess to our waitress… They have a very good wine selection and the lobster soup was extraordinary!! Cheese board as dessert: mind blowing! Next time in Amsterdam we will go again for sure.

3.5/10Very disappointed ☹️ amateur place! I never went to any place that was so unprofessional. No hard feelings but even simple dish like tartar was so boring. Way too expensive for the quality. My steak was like beef for 10€ instead of 21€

8.5/10Cosy restaurant, good kitchen and attentive, flexible staff (we had to scale down from 7 to 5, no problem). The size of the meat portions could have been less without a problem. Not the cheapest in town but certainly worth it!

5.5/10The service was extremely slow and the waiters were disregarding us everytime we tried calling them. There were a ton of flies in the restaurant and even about 50-100 of them above the bar. The food was average and the overall experience was not good

10/10Food was cooked to perfection. We both had the catch of the day, Cod with muscles...perfect. Only slight suggestion to really polish the table off is uniform salt and pepper grinders. Lovely service and will be trying Black next. 5 star

8/10Nice restaurant and nice service. Onion soup was tasteless unfortunately and 11.50 euros for a small Crème brûlée.... Now I understand why they don't show the dessert prices online ????. All in all, 8/10. I wouldn't go back but I don't think it's a bad place if you're around and want a bite

9.5/10We had a super meal. Starters were goats cheese and the other scallops. Both delicious. Mains were the fish of the day and the burger. To get a rare burger is such a treat (we’re British, and most restaurants won’t serve them rare). My daughter said you could taste the quality of the meat. Pud of crème brûlée. The cinnamon ice cream was superb - really unusual and not too sweet. Service friendly and efficient. So glad we came
