Real and delicious Italian food. Whilst you wouldn’t expect restaurants in this area to be kids-friendly it actually was a great experience for the kids as the owner made feel super special and comfy. Will come back definitely

Well - being at Il Palio several times, if of course love the food and the people. When we entered - we sat next to a table of italians!! That tells the story i think. Good and absolutely affordable food - and staff with good attitude and nice interaction. I just love it. Gert ( .. ask them for an "apple cake" shot and you will be surprised one way or the other)

Super nice and cozy spot. Had a lovely pizza, and was so happy that they had gluten free options for pizza and pasta! The vibe was very inviting. Highly recommended, and we will definitely go again.

Cramped restaurant, most restaurants in amsterdam are but this was way more than other places. Bruschetta was very disappointing, basically tomatoes with some leaves on warm bread, for €8! Our streaks were ok, not cold but lukewarm, definitely not hot. Calamari was basically onion rings. Wouldn’t reccommend, plenty of better places to go in amsterdam

Terrible service, I noticed everyone received bread, butter and salad except me. When I asked for bread the waiter just gave it to me without the butter. I’m unsure why I was treated differently. I’m not a Caucasian and don’t want to make assumptions but this is my experience as a brown woman that I was ignored and not provided the same service everyone else around me received.
