10/10Simple and down-to-earth, super traditional restaurant with very friendly and fun staff, serving all the staples of Roman cuisine the way nonna would make them. It’s a favorite of ours and we go anytime we have guests. It never disappoints.

7.5/10we had really excellent pasta and rabbit, the veal was less exciting.. nice again was the dessert. all in all a very nice place for eating !! I would have wished to try more dishes..

10/10This was an amazing experience! Our hotel was within a 20 minute walk along the river and we had a fantastic meal. At one point, we actually ended up asking for the menu again because the dishes that were being served were so amazing! Perfect size proportions and asking for the special wine list of regional wines was amazing! The deserts, the presentation, and everything from top to bottom was exceptional. We will definitely go back!

10/10Great place off the tourist path. We were greeted with authentic Italian hospitality, were taught how to eat ox tail, and the proper way to use the bread for scarpetta!

10/10We have lived in Rome for almost a year and this is the best restaurant experience we have had. First off, it is a charming location with a beautiful garden. Secondly, the service is friendly, warm, and helpful. But most importantly, the food is FANTASTIC. Everything that we had was the best. The beans and escarole was great. Even something as simple as a cabbage salad, was great. And the primi and secondi were perfect. Even our macchiato was fantastic. Next time we will try to save room for dessert!

10/10Great familiar restaurant in Porta Portese, the food is outstanding and the service is very kind. Try Cacio e Pepe, the pasta is cooked perfectly and very tasteful.

8/10Food was great - good quality typical Roman cuisine, with all the usual range of dishes, even the bread was delicious (and warm when it arrived). Pasta well prepared - cacio pepe beautifully unctious, amatriciana thick and rich. The only disappointment was that despite arriving on time when the place was practically empty (there was literally just one other family there) we were told we could not sit in the garden but would have to take a table outside on the street - which is an extremely busy corner with many cars passing and a lot of pollution. After some discussion they eventually seated us in the garden - but the service was offhand and unfriendly sadly - even though by the time we left the tables were still not fully occupied. So just to watch out if you book to make sure to confirm a table in the garden.

Dear Mrs Alison, If sometimes I'd come in your house or in you country I'd come with extremely education. We told you that the garden was full booked and it was the very truth. Despite this situation we have been very kindly with you to find the table. Next time we will do better to let you go to another restaurant. Respect for people who are working and respect for italian people.

10/10Great atmosphere. Ideal to try real and tasty Roman plates with the help of charming and helpful staff. The past excellent, the rabbit stew incredible and the desser home made tiramisu, we couldn't ask for more. No doubt we'll come back when we are in the city
