10/10Been returning here for more than 20 years. Food is good, service is great and friendly, ambiance is calm. Recently Roman friends appreciated the classic menu and we all enjoyed our meal with dessert.

10/10We ate at Virginiae twice during our visit to Rome. Small restaurant with some outdoor seating, with a very nice vibe: White tablecloths but not stuffy. Service was great! Food very good: Traditional pasta dishes and antipasto that were excellent. Mainly couples but some families there as well. Highly recommend!

10/10We had an amazing lunch, lasagne was great and my partner loved the lamb. I don’t like coffee so wouldn’t usually order a tiramisu but it had come highly recommended, it was incredible! Great authentic food, lovely atmosphere and friendly.

10/10We really enjoyed dining at Virgineae restaurant. The ambience was amazing, the food was scrumptious and the wine was great. We really enjoyed the lamb ribs, the carbonara, and the gnocchi. All dishes were delicious. Our server Shejan was very friendly and helpful. Definitely I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants fine dining experience at an affordable price.

10/10We got a table here a day ahead of our visit on the basis of other reviews and we were not disappointed. Despite being in a very busy and touristy part of Rome it felt welcoming and the cuisine was authentically Roman. I particularly liked my Pollo alla Romana which was tender and delicious. The wine prices were very reasonable for a short but very good selection - they did not have wine by the glass which probably helps keep the wine by the bottle prices so low.

10/10The experience at Virginiae was truly special. We loved this place so much that we went twice including for our final meal of our two week trip to Italy. The food is amazing from start to finish and the wait staff is just as amazing. Beautiful atmosphere that lets you know you were at somewhere special while still keeping it casual enough that it wasn't stuffy. i can't say enough good things about Virginiae and have already recommended this to friends coming to Rome in a few months!

CORDIALITÀ - A pochissimi passi da Piazza Navona, nel cuore del centro storico di Roma, si trova il Ristorante Virginiae. Un ambiente cordiale e molto accogliente, impreziosito da un arredamento rustico e sobriamente elegante al medesimo tempo. CUCINA TRADIZIONALE - Il menù del locale propone un'ampia selezione di specialità tipicamente romane, preparate esclusivamente utilizzando materie prime d'altissimo livello, sempre fresche e genuine. Molto buoni anche i dolci fatti in casa proposti. DA PROVARE - Consigliati sicuramente gli ottimi primi piatti della tradizione, come ad esempio la carbonara e la gricia, ma anche la trippa alla romana e l'abbacchio alla scottadito.
