The food is good don’t get me wrong. But massively overpriced for what it is You eat well but the prices are not justified The desert was the highlight. But still. At 16€ it’s very expensive

😊 Nice decoration. I had a very nice space for my dog and I as it rained and I could not sit outside as planned. 😐 The menu was 200€ and definitively overrated. I ate better in other 2 Michelin ⭐️ restaurants (even in 1 Michelin ⭐️ restaurants) 😕 I got a glass of champaign for 33€ with barely any bubbles😳 (open bottle). Anyway, they took it back.

The owner’s warmth, the beautifully kept grounds, and the overall atmosphere made it unforgettable. Tucked away in Sintra, this restaurant is absolutely worth the trip. Our meal was truffle-inspired and every dish was presented with such care – truly 10 out of 10. My date was so impressed, and honestly, so was I. Yes, it is a pricey experience, but completely worth it. We spent about four hours enjoying lunch, and every moment felt special. When you consider the quality, presentation, and experience, it’s $100 an hour well spent. If you want to impress someone and indulge in fabulous cuisine, 1743 Cucina Italiana delivers on every level.

We had a wonderful experience at 1743. We were celebrating our anniversary and loved this restaurant. The building and decoration are stunning and service was excellent. It is rather expensive, but was worth the visit.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful Portuguese Quinta with an amazing landscape. The Menu was perfectly designed by a well known chef and it’s hard to choose the meal (everything looks delicious) The staff is really kind and well prepared.

Food is good, but when the check comes it ruins the experience. 120 euros for a milanese with past, it’s just outrageous. Not coming back. Better to go to Corleone, Caffe Italia or Bougain.

Very contradicting experience. 10 out of 10 for the place itself, very beautiful palace with charming atmosphere. The music and the environment are the reasons to return but the rest needs to be drastically improved. We had a "Salmonete plate" and Chicken breast. Both plates were not really good. Considering the fact that it is Portugal the quality and the taste of fish were rather weak than tasty. Chicken quality was even worse. The meat was underdone and the ravioli accompanied the main dish were tasteless and dry. Service was good, but it took some time for the main course to come although we were the only one among the guests for that moment. Maria, one of the ladies serving the table was very pleasant and welcoming. After dinner we were offered small excursion in the palace by her so it has left positive memory. But in general, kitchen should be improved.
