7/10Beautiful restaurant! The back waiter was hustling and really made us feel welcome. We had to pour our own water and wine the whole dinner, not a big deal. But we were disappointed in the food mostly. Branzino had no flavor at all, the $110 dry age steak came out rare and we requested 2 pieces to be brought up and they scorched it to beef jerky. Sorry chef…. One of our most expensive meals we had and it was….okay. Wouldn’t return

6.5/10We had a 1900 reservation. Got there a little early. We sat at our table from 1845 to 1915 and no one came to greet us or asked to take a drink order! Finally we asked someone to take our order. Dinner was ok but hot items were just barely warm! The restaurant is a beautiful location but service is very spotty, slow. Food is so, so. This is our fourth time here. Most likely will try another ‘rooftop’ restaurant in the future!

2.5/10They brought me the wrong drink twice before they brought the right one but even that wasn’t very good. The croquettes were cold and the pan con tomato was stale. I asked for a description of the red prawns and was told they were shrimp but red! I left within 20 minutes.

6.5/10Food priced on the high side but good and well cooked. Main issue is wine by the glass and service. The size of the cava was literally one sip for 8 euros and the red wine dregs of the bottle. Old and tasted stale. Lovely view but service with a snippy edge………

10/10On arrival we were shown to a table inside. There were no other diners sitting inside and it was cold so would not have been an enjoyable experience. We were told that the Terrace was full although there seemed to be empty tables. I expressed my displeasure and they eventually ‘found’ us a table on the terrace. The lesson is to specify the terrace when booking but not sure the Fork website has that facility.

7/101881 is a nice place for ambiance. The food is OK, not great nor bad. The service is adequate. We would go again if only for the location. Perhaps stay only with the starters and maybe just one main course.

6.5/10New Years Eve menu was inventive, and courses were brought at the right pace. The waitress did not refill our wine glasses and also did not bring us champagne at midnight. There were crumbs on the table and at this level of restaurant they should have been cleaned between courses. The DJ for the night played terrible music, and people weren’t dancing so many left early, including us. The view was beautiful and we saw fireworks all over the city at midnight when we were outside.

10/10Always love 1881, been a visitor to their amazing terrace since 2015, it’s my must take spot when I have visitors. The restaurant which I tried for the 1st time was the cherry on the top! The attention of the waitresses was impeccable, so attentive and warm. You could it was a delight for them to be of assistance, we had the Norwegian Sea food rice and it was to die for! Will definitely be back!

8/10The terrace Ambiance is stunning though the table we sat in wasn’t the best try to take a table on the right side not near the DJ cause the view there is closed. Weather was amazingly and much cooler being on the 4th Floor. The meat was great .. The fish was pricy and just OK. But I have to thank the fork for making the reservation cause the Resturant was fully booked, and kept on declining our booking at the terrace. I couldn’t pay through the fork not sure why but it could be a technical issue.. the place is definitely worth visiting .

10/10First time for my fiancée in Barcelona. The team were excellent and gave us some fabulous service. As a result, returned again within the same holiday for drinks and canapés . Views spectacular. Ambience great. Food excellent

10/10The food is really good, very good selection of appetizer, fish and meat. We also tried a dessert and it definitely did not disappoint :) Very good value for money. Very nice atmosphere with very friendly, professional and polite staff. Possibility to eat indoor and outdoor (the views outdoor is amazing, I highly recommend to go for lunch and enjoy the views of the harbour). Covid wise is handled very well: clean, staff is always wearing a face mask (mainly ffp2) and the distance is well respected (tables are big and properly organized). Highly recommend it. We will definitely come back :)

7/10Razor clams and mussels were ok. Tuna tartare was correct but lacking a wow effect (really nothing special) The meat was disappointing, it was ok meat but really not exceptional or deserving to be paid that much.

10/10Great view on the terrace, even though a little cold, there was heating lamp and they turned down the music a bit for us. Food was great, fish soup was big enough for two, everyone enjoyed the food. I would highly recommend it
