+4Excellent restaurant with an impressive dining room under an arched cave like ceiling. Food was good with attractive presentation. We were seated in a narrow room which made the passing of waiters and staff rather tight. Very exhaustive wine list, however not cheap!!!! Well worth a visit, pleasant service and impressive location!!!

8/10As regular visitors over a number of years, we knew what to expect and the food was up to its usual high standard. Obviously the number of new younger staff were less competent than the usual team, but hopefully this will improve, including the arrogant and unwelcoming young lady met when we arrived.

10/10Lovely setting with delicious food and extensive wine list. We went for the set menu which was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and understanding especially as we were late for our booking due to the weather. Would highly recommend.

10/10We come to 21 boulevard on every visit to Beaune and it‘s always a delightful experience, best service and amazing food and wine, highly recommend!

6/10The restaurant is very pleasant and charming. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes and an extensive wine list. Additionally, there is no Wi-Fi and since it’s located in a basement (cave) there is no mobile signal. I was traveling without my kids and wanted to stay in touch with them, so this made things a bit difficult for me.

10/10The best snails (escargots) i've ever tasted in my life! This restaurant cooks with pleasure and lot's of love. Great service and host. Keep on doing what you do best :)

+1Food delicious. Attentive service from waiter. Beaune people from all walks really know their wine so we had great input from everyone we asked in town including the waiter who served us. Very lovely. However when we walked in, there was no obvious place to check in so we wandered past the bar to the cellar dining area and a hostess/waitress barked at us to get back out and wait in the unattended empty bar and stairs area. She continued her rather gruff demeanor through the dinner service when she helped our waiter. Anyway it was our only dinner in town and a great meal was had. Beaune has so much to offer but many locals begrudgingly deal with visitors - I get it as someone who returns to France annually for decades, but the town is a foodie and wine place and the restaurant fits right in. Just that it seems a lot of locals don’t really like to share their hometown. Circa Paris 1980-90s…..

10/10What an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere gorgeous, the food delicious and the service top notch. My biggest issue was deciding what to order. I almost forgot the wine list was like a novel. Fantastic selection We will definitely return. Merci

10/10We had booked the four course meal. We had two choices for each course. Delicious. Our table was in the cellar which gave a lovely ambience. Great service. Thanks for the lovely dinner.

10/10We had a last minute reservation. There was only one table left which was not in an ideal location. As soon as a table became available, our server came over and moved us to a better spot. Food was excellent and a great value for the amount paid. If we are ever in Beaune again, we will return!

Beautiful rooms in an old masonry cellar. What a great experience just to dine in these rooms. Jean greeted me warmly at the door and checked in and was ever present through out the evening. Very nice and experienced man and host. The food was excellent and a very good value. Snails in a Parmesan cream. Beef cheeks bourguignon was fantastic. And a selection of cheeses. Paired wines were on point. Great experience ! Merci Jean

Outstanding reception and service. White linen table cloth and excellent wine list. Very elegant. A great menu and delivered very hot from the kitchen. The history of the room envelops you. Make and keep reservations.

During my few days at Burgundy, I went out and had dinner by myself. Usually restaurants will sit me at the corner and then just leave me there but not at 21 boulevard! The staff are very friendly and the food was excellent. I asked for a table in the cellar area and they arranged a lovely table for me.

8/10Veal was lovely but a vegetable other than cooked lettuce would have been better and sauce. On the side preferable it dominated the dish. Cheese very expensive for what was on the plate addition of garnish would have made it much more interesting.
