    We have found a gem. This place, close to the center (very close) but right outside the touristic mess. Dishes are a mix of tradition and innovation, with a great attention to ingredients quality. I tried some of the traditional dishes and they are very close to my Mum’s ones. Service is top: friendly, professional, attentive. Wine list is focused on the territory and got some nice labels. Nice ambience. Highly recommended.

    I don’t know how it got such great reviews. It was almost like I was in another restaurant. The food was very mediocre and disappointing.

    This restaurant was just outside the city walls so felt more like a lovely neighbourhood restaurant than a touristy one. The staff were lovely, strong English and explained various dishes on a menu that was varied and more inventive than alot of the restaurants we have been to in the old city. The food was superb, reasonably priced and special mention to the lemon and raspberry tirimisu....delicious!

    Restaurant opened 10 minutes late by which time there were 12 people waiting to enter . Service extremely slow . First course arrived an hour after our booking. Such a shame as food was good but was just about to leave because of the wait .

    Gentile ospite, grazie per la sua "fantasiosa" recensione che ci ha strappato più di un sorriso. Solitamente non rispondiamo alle recensioni per rispetto delle opinioni dei nostri clienti ma, nel suo caso, faremo un'eccezione per i motivi che seguono. Innanzitutto, il ristorante, come ogni giorno, era aperto ben prima dell'orario esposto...voi siete rimasti fuori dal locale fino a quando il cameriere, dopo un quarto d'ora di attesa, è uscito chiedendovi se dovevate entrare!! Scusateci ma solitamente non è necessario spiegare che, ebbene sì, le porte vanno aperte per poter entrare in un posto! Le altre persone in attesa, semplicemente, erano in orario per la loro prenotazione! Riguardo al servizio: avete scelto dei piatti che necessitano di cottura al forno e vi è stato comunicato che il tempo di attesa sarebbe stato di 25/30 minuti in quanto preparazioni fresche e non riscaldate. Un'ora di attesa? Evidentemente non abbiamo lo stesso sistema di misura del tempo! Scusate, ma meritate i menù turistici! Bye!

    Wow, really the best pasta I have ever eaten (and that says a lot!). Very friendly and modest staff. Really homemade meals with attention to the guests.
