The service and food was exceptional. It was a quiet Monday night in Trieste but this restaurant made it one to remember.

A wonderful location for watching the sunset over Trieste harbour. Lovely food, which, despite the rather limited menu options, surprises with its sophisticated approach. The service was extremely professional, attentive and friendly. A fantastic place for a romantic dinner.

Wonderful rooftop restaurant, service outstanding and food was brilliantly presented and tasted as good as it looked. The sunset alone was worth it but what really made it great was the service. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the regional wine and the food. A place definitely one should visit when in Trieste.

May wife and I dined at 7th Rooftop on July 20th. We were a bit apprehensive when we arrived. The restaurant is on the roof of a hotel. The lobby looked more like a hostel. When we arrived at the roof space, we saw the high chairs were plastic. However, the space itself provides great views of the water and city. The tables were played perfectly. The food was excellent- very creative, beautifully prepared, and explained. The wine list was good and our servers were dry helpful in wine selection. Overall, we had N exceptionally good dining experience. Many thanks to both of our lovely servers and the kitchen staff.

the view was amazing as we had that table sea side, sunset was a real treat and a great opportunity for pictures. Service impeccable, wines were presented in detail. Food was very good but not the best we had in those 3 days, especially the fish fish and the one piece of meat was too cooked so had to be sent back (without an issue)

Yesterday we enjoyed a freash and healthy full dinner. For each plate you could choose out of three options (meat, fish or vegitarian). The plates were delicious, and the cook knows how to dress up his/her plates! We were surprised with an amuse bouche. The waitress was very kind. She spoke English very well. She had a lot of patience and gave good advice in the choice of wine. Last but not least we enjoyed the beautiful skyline and admired the sunset at sea.

This hidden restaurant in the centre of Triest (Part of a hotel/coworking building - without "TheFork" we would not have found it) is offering a small but really excellent menue for allmost everybody (dishes for meat and fish eaters as well as vegetarians). Sitting on the roof top having a look over the sea and the city of Triest is an additional highlight, however, some sunshades woulde be nice (at least if your are sitting on the terrace in the summer before 8 pm)
