Its 2025, people getting more and more aware of the fact that health is in our own hands. I was not happy to find red dye in my basmati rice. I need no confetti in my soup so to soeak. It is time for cooks to cater to the health of people . Overal the tast was good, iI missed the onion bahji... I would love to see authentic waiters/waitresses instead of computer ordering. I mean, that's not the future for humans....

Excellent food, had Some biryani with gamba’s, tandoori mixed grill and a curry chicken, some naan, mango lassi. And kingfisher beer of course. Staff not speaking Dutch, but that is becoming normal in some cities it appears ….. unfortunately

Enjoyed the food, some of the curries were a bit too sweet for my liking, but I think that was just because of what we ordered. We did ask to take home the leftovers as we ordered too much food and the waiter brought us the containers to put our own food in it, which i found weird as for the pair next to us they took the food into the kitchen and brought out the containers with leftovers. So that was a bit off-putting about the service

Really delicious food. Nice and spicy. The naan was amazing. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant is super beautiful. Overall a great experience. I recommend this place to everyone.

We are definitely glad we found this restaurant but staff was very busy we understand that as it was weekend, They served us papad with chutney was good , mango lassi was super but what we don’t like as a customer is the lady staff was listening to our problem with the food suddenly leaving the conversation went to other customer to hear them . So it sounds very unprofessional. And then talking about food so we ordered for tandoori chicken , it came like chicken mix with mutton and shrimps that too wasn’t fresh, it was kind of smelling , the onions too were smelling bad . So overall, ambience and welcome was good . Rest experience with food and staff was not really not good .

Nothing but amazing! We had a lounge table reserved which was comfortable beyond imagination. The food was perfect from the starters to the tandooris and curries. Will definitely come back.

Very nice restaurant at good location(Oude haven) the ordering through the Ipad (on each table) was a bit clumsy but eventually it all worked. The waitress explained the menu and the food was good and tasty. Furthermore the price setting was good and not really expensive.

This was our first visit to 91Spices. When we arrived it was a bit chaotic, our table was reserved and we were expected, but the process of welcoming people and guiding them to the table was a bit confusing. We sat by the large window with a view on the Gelderseplein, In daylight, there is a contrast whether you sit at the bar/window or at the far side of the restaurant, it is either very light or slightly dark. At 8pm it was dark outside and that's when it felt more cosy. The food was good, not as spicy as I am used to with Indian food. The Vindaloo and the Jalfrezi were a 1 out of 3 chilis, but the taste was great and the qualities were just fine! We had a mixed starter to share, some papadums, I prefer the papdums to come with a fresh chutney of sorts rather than with the sauces they were served with. Overal a good experience though! Very friendly staff. Prices were on the high end for an indian restaurant; 20 euro for a curry is kinda steep. We had a great evening and will visit again.

No social distance, way too busy. Like there is no corona. We always liked the staff here but since the introduction of tablets to make your order there is hardly any interaction left. Food is still good but the while experience of eating out at 91spices just isn't much fun anymore.
