Staying in Lisbon for the first time and a bit of an odd experience with this place. Booked in the suggested way via "The Fork" app for an evening meal on a week night. Turned up at the expected time to find a closed restaurant with all lights on but locked doors. Ended up going around the corner to Taberrna Da Esquina, which was exemplary in every way.

They seemed to be under staffed, so the service was slow. But the food was really good!

Unfortunately, the waiter replaced the wine we ordered with a much more expensive one without informing us, and it remained that way. We felt misled, and as a result, the total bill for dinner nearly doubled.

Took us a long time to be served even though the restaurant had only four people dining and other two already on dessert. Also didn't apply the discount even after I made them notice we had a right to it.

Em relação ao disconto, como pode verificar na plataforma da The Fork, o mesmo não é aplicável aos menus predefinidos, como é o caso do "Menu Francesinha". Já em relação ao tempo de espera verificamos que entre a hora da sua reserva e a emissão da fatura mediaram 73 minutos, o que é perfeitamente ajustado ao tipo de serviço prestado.

A bit expensive for the served food. Don't recommend the octupus. Steak is good, but we ask for rare and it was medium/well. Service is really good tho n

This restaurant offers traditional Portuguese cuisine in a comfortable and slightly more upmarket setting. The selection of dishes is good with a wide variety of fish and meat dishes to choose from. While we enjoyed our meals, the portions are quite large and the food is very rich so it was a bit much for our liking.
