Excellent appetizers! Disappointed with dry Pavlova dessert, much better quality at L’Avenue and Cafe Marly. Service could’ve been warmer and friendlier, good Christmas musical ambiance but ruined by indifferent service.

A gem of a restaurant! Authentic Russian experience with lots of history. A must visit when in Paris!

It is simply an incredible place. It represents extremely well the atmosphere and vibe of the noble, intellectual, white émigré Russia without tacky and extravagant cliches in decor and dishes. The live music was not mainstream either, but subtle, old-school and not soviet and as a result added a generous dollop of authenticity to the general ambience.

The restaurant was complety overbooked on the evening of the Russian Orthodox Christmas with a lot more tables than usual. Moreover, the music was too loud and we could not discuss at the table. There was practically no space for musicians to perform and so they were standing too close to guests to play and sing which was really uncomfortable. And finally a large and loud group of 20 people just in the center of the restaurant. Disappointed by the experience..

Perfect russian cuisine, homemade and tasty with quite a large carte of traditional dishes. Pirojkis and borscht as at granny’s kitchen!

Very authentic and tasty food of a good quality. Beautiful interior brings a nice atmosphere. Had a great time!

Nice Russian vibe, good food, but staff forgot to bring items four separate times and were glacially slow (waited 30 minutes for someone to ask for drink order). Perhaps it was a quiet lunch day? In any case, recommend delivery or take out.
