Food was excellent, but it was about 150 degrees inside. If you have air conditioning, turn it on. Otherwise, rip it out.

Smell in the restaurant was not pleasent, food quality was not good. Fish was too salty and pasta was undercooked and sauce was watery with almost no taste

Very average restaurant. Noticed that other tables were given bread and breadsticks. We just got dry bread. Had to ask for Olive Oil. Had prawns with pasta - nice Al dente pasta and sauce lacked prawns, tuna was over powered by sesame seeds, swordfish rolls totally LD kef flavour and were dry. The cold tinned carrots served with both mains were a disappointment when there are such lovely fresh ingredients around.

The entrance is misleading. It looks very plain but inside is lovely, and excellent service too. Polite cheerful lady who spoke quite good English The food was great. We had tuna in sesame. We would definitely return ????

The restaurant is placed in central Messina nice and cosy. We had 3 Primi Piatti. The pasta was a bit do AL DENTE. Good size portions then dessert atwo bottle of water Cost? €102

Initially, we did not feel welcome as we were a bit early and the staff there did not speak any English. But then a young woman who spoke a bit of English was very friendly and helpful. Food is good, not outstanding, but definitely a good value. We had grilled octupus (ok, a bit rubbery and bland), two pasta dishes. Pasta was good. Also, note for Americans ... no ice on the premises, wife wanted a soda and water with ice. The restaurant is deceptive, doesn't look like much from the outside and entryway, but there is a hidden dining room which has a gracious decor. WC's were very clean. This restaurant is easy walking distance from the cruise port, so I would encourage cruisers to eat here for lunch on the way back to the ship, or dinner.

It should have said that there was no pizza for lunch. Except that every thing was ok or perfect !
