The freshness of the seafood.

We were well received, seated immediately as we had reservations. Food was good, service was good and value for money was good.

The owner and staff made us feel like family. They made us feel like the king prawns were grilled special for us. We felt the food and service were the best In Lisbon.

The food was good, well cooked , the service was good also. We bought 4 tiger prawns,1 bachalau, 1 mix salad, rise with prawn an lobster, 2 bottle wine. 249.5€. Only cash. But the problem was that the restaurant was very low to compete the price. It was a local fish tavern with tv to watch football games and toi noisy. If the price was about 150€ then i would have no problem. Generally is overvalued

Service does not seem to be a strong point or important at this restaurant. The food was fine - not particularly exciting or great. There are much better options elsewhere in the city.

+1Very good local seafood restaurant. We visit Lisbon for 3 days and they are very friendly to tourists.Very nice staffs and boss and they serve us very well while we have a one year old baby but he still help us very well! Food is amazing although he recommended tiger prawns to us is over budget but it is still very tasty and full if cream, the meat texture is very firm which worth the price. We also ordered crabs, seafood rice and cod fish which all are very yummy. The size of seafood rice is very big for 3 adult. We pay for €11x finally we still think it is worth for it. They are honest and don't cheat tourist. Will recommend for my friends if they visit Lisbon.

I was as expected and as hoped for! I wanted a little family run, local seafood restaurant and that’s what this is! However, it’s outstanding!! I got a huge pot of seafood in rice; that was in a light sauce. A lot of seafood and a lot of rice. And, it was delicious!! Some of the waitstaff speak English because the menu is in Portuguese. However, if you work at it, some of it is understandable! I hope some day to go back!

Friendly service. We were welcomed very warmly and Nuno made an effort to make sure we had a great evening. Food was tasty and very well priced. Would definitely go again

This place is an absolute gem—no frills, just insanely good seafood. The vibe is super laid-back, but the food? Next-level. Everything is fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The service is friendly, the crowd is mostly locals (which says a lot), and just a heads-up—it’s cash only.

It was bustling, locals place. With a separate room for we few tourists. Simple, good, fresh seafood. We had the lobster. And our server Lulu was a hoot.

Top tier A+ service. Super low key establishment, no frills, just good food. Definitely a spot where locals come to drink and eat. High quality seafood and great prices.

The person who waited on us was so welcoming and helpful with the menu as we don't speak Portuguese. That made all the difference in our having a wonderful dinner and time at the restaurant. The seafood is so fresh and delicious. Go eat there. You won't be disappointed.

What a fun place! Out of the way spot, though we weren't the only tourists. Delicious fish and clams. Enjoyed the meal very much. The waiter was funny and amazingly efficient.

Quick and attentive services. The Seafood very tasty and fresh. Especially the tasty seafood rice. I strongly recommend that the extra was wonderful.

The restaurant was recommended by a friend as the best example of an authentic Portuguese seafood place in Lisbon. Not only was the food outstanding but the staff were incredibly helpful - their suggestions were invaluable. I wish we could go every Friday!

This is a Neiborhood food place close to the Palace in the old town are. It was a wonderful experience and happy to go there. Is not a tourist place but a pleasant environment. The service and the seafood were outstanding. Is not a fancy place, but a place you feel safe, well treated and with fresh seafood to offer. A place to go again when we visit Lisbon, and a place to recommend to friends.

The sapateira crab was excellent, but the 2 shrimp dishes were overcooked. We ordered ham and cheese appetizers that never came. They said the crab would take 30 minutes to be prepared, but it took an hour and a half. We could barely get the attention of the waiters to order dessert (which needless to say we skipped) or to get the check.

It is a local seafood place with a neighborhood vibe. Food is fresh-taken right out of a tank up front. They only take cash so be prepared. The owner was extremely nice and spoke good English . The 28 tram goes right in front of it as well as some buses and stop is one block away. We would go back.

Nice local place with fresh seafood. Very simple decor and nice service. All customers looked local and well known by staff. The server was speaking some English and explained menu in simple words: fish, shrimp, soup. So we ordered what was suggested by server. He brought to try different crab claws which were salty. Shrimp was salty as well but was fresh. Seafood soup was not salty finely and had plenty shell seafood like crab and shrimp and claws. It had too much rice that absorbed liquid and it was more like risotto not soup. Overall, food was good. At the end we got a bill written by hand on top of another bill that we could not understand and they would only accept cash that we did not know before. Luckily we had cash to pay. It was interesting experience.
