8/10We spent a weekend in Divonne and went to eat dinner to À Royal Spice. The host was very welcoming and the atmosphere warm. The menu was explained in french and English and it was easy to order. The dishes we chose were very tasty. We are definitely coming back 👍

8.5/10Beautifully decorated, cosy and welcoming restaurant. I recommend the Butter chicken which is absolutely delicious and the best I have ever tasted! Their breads are so authentic and tasty!

6/10We reserved for 4 persons with the 20% discount. At the last minute my son’s friend decided to join us so we were seated at a table for 5. About 10 minutes after we arrived the owner came and told us that the discount could not be applied to our meal. I said I was happy to pay full price for one meal as I was not expecting the discount to be applied to all 5, but to 4 per our reservation. However, the restaurant refused to honor the 20% discount for any of us!! What disappointing customer service! Because of this, we will not be returning. It’s a shame because the food was pretty good and we could have otherwise become regular customers.

7.5/10The service is great, staff is pleasant. The food is good however we ordered a chicken biryani. It didn’t have much chicken in it, mainly rice. Also, the ice cream flavor ordered was Orange, and we got mango flavor instead… ! When seated, you sink into the chairs and therefore you sit rather low compared to the table height!

9.5/10Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive and the food was delicious!!! Even provided a surprise dessert for my daughter, due to it being her birthday. Would definitely recommend The Royal Spice!

10/10Calm, sweet service and nice moment spent there. Butter Chicken is a must try, and Curry Vindaloo is nice too. Had wine, starters, meal and desert with a welcome cocktail for a very reasonable price.

6/10The lighting is not comfortable. We had to ask à vitale of time to get water, like we were bothering. Even though we had ordered wine and starters. The meat was not tender, the sauce was ok but nothing really special. Yes a bit disappointed.

10/10Highly recommended place!! Delicious food, awe-inspiring indian themed decor, very committed waiters and waitresses to great service managed by beautiful indian family, awesome atmosphere, quiet location and good value for money! I had such a good experience for my birthday and can only really thank the wonderful team for being friendly, engaging and professional, paying close attention to details! Merci pour cette belle soirée et super découverte ! Can't wait to come back!!

8.5/10I had chicken tandoori which was delicious. You have to order rice and other side dishes apart. I think at least the rice should be included in the price of the plate.

8/10The food was delicious and my request to make the daily chicken curry menu more spicy was taken into account. Portions are generous but would love to get warm plates in order to keep the food warm till the last bite ;-)

9/10Food was very good and service friendly. My friend had a mixed tandoori grill which was fantastic. Lighting and location makes it feel a bit like you’ve stepped into a parallel universe. We were the only table (of 4) there for first hour, then one other table arrived. Could have done with a bit of background music to make it a bit less eerie perhaps? We were a loud group of friends so for us it didn’t matter too much. Not sure I’d go here for a romantic dinner for two though.
