Stunning place, great food and the staff is adorable. The restaurant is kid-friendly as well. We will definitely come back; we had a wonderful time. One note: if you order a glass of wine, be sure to ask for the price before accepting their recommendation: it was delicious, but very pricey compared to the food.

Lovely location, stopped off en route, lovely grilled fish complements to the chef. Staff were excellent and very friendly cats.

The staff was very friendly which already starts at arrival at reception of the hotel where the restaurant is situated. Personal approach i every step. We had dinner outside in a lovely garden with our table situated under a tree in a cozy atmosphere. Food was excellent.

Sole is an excellent fish. But if cooked to long it becomes a really boring one. That is what I got!

The setting for A Terra could not be more wonderful. What an amazing property and the outdoor dining was fantastic. I have a few things that could have been improved and that I was disappointed about. The restaurant seated us with a combination of lunch menus and dinner menus. Not the end of the world, but as I am not fluent in Portuguese, I thought that they had a very limited menu. I realized the error after my family started talking about many amazing dishes. This was corrected quickly. Second, I had my heart set on ordering a steak and the restaurant informed me, that they were out of the T-bone. I was looking forward to my first beef of the week and I would hope a restaurant of this caliber could do better. I ordered the duck rice instead and it was spectacular. I still very highly recommend A Terra it was an amazing experience and treat! You will not be disappointed.

We had an excellent family dinner - the service was attentive and on point. We had cocktails first which both looked and tasted delicious. I had t bone steak which was tasty and well cooked to my liking. My wife had pizza and daughter had seafood pasta - they both really enjoyed their mains, we finished with carob churros with lemon custard and pumpkin and spice crumble with a goats cheese ice cream - both really imaginative dessert’s and very tasty! Would recommend and will definitely return!

We had booked well in advance for our Christmas brunch. So glad we did. Absolutely perfect in every way 👌. Easy to find, beautiful gardens and such friendly staff. It was informal and very welcoming. Thanks for making our Christmas special.

Wonderful lunch for my father in-law’s 70th birthday. Beautiful table underneath a carob tree with immaculate service from all of the staff. Thank you!

Unfortunately we had a bad evening with them, all drinks wrong, food took quite some time, was not cooked as requested (raw meat instead medium-done) and the staff was totally overwhelmed once it got a bit more busy at 7:30 pm. I must admit we got the drinks and the one dish credited but still, never again as they don't live up to their standards and high prices.

We were so looking forward to eating here but we were disappointed with the standard of our food. I would have expected much better for a hotel of this Calibre. However it’s a beautiful place and the ambiance is great as long as you don’t mind a below average meal

Very pleased with this restaurant! Will continue to bring our house guests here for the beautifully landscaped grounds with atmospheric dining al fresco and the magnificently tasty menu. Fancy but not too fancy. Expensive but not too expensive. Worthy of praise indeed.

Starter : goat cheese salad with 4 tiny pieces of cheese .. Caesar salad ok Sweets, soubremesas : Creme brulee indusrial taste, mousse chocolat not fresh! stayed in the freeg for few days, sticky consistance

It was our anniversary as we where staying in estoi decided to eat out very nice restaurant and attentive staff menu was good but was expecting a little more choice however was very good went back next day to explore hotel and will be booking a night for the full experience

The scene is beautiful but the service is rather unprofessional and extremely slow. It took almost two hours to get our dishes and we didn’t even get an apology from the waiters. Food is fine but very overpriced. Cannot recommend.

The restaurant is cosy and modern, with a rustic feeling. Although very busy, the service was managed perfectly. Our waiting time was minimal. The food itself was delicious and nicely presented. We had a great experience.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. We visited the restaurant as a party of 8 celebrating our wedding anniversary. The service from every member of staff was outstanding and so was the food. Couldn’t rate more highly the restaurant and the beautiful setting.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We went with friends and with a 2 and 5-year old kid. The food was really good and the atmosphere and service fantastic. The place was not crowded now in November and we spent a few hours there eating and wondering around the beautiful surroundings. What a beautiful afternoon! I highly recommend it to families!

We had a lovely evening in beautiful tranquil surroundings. Comfortable chairs with a table on the grass in the garden . The staff were really friendly and the service was very good. The food was excellent and the cork placemats were very authentic.We felt pampered! Thank you!????
