We had the tasting menu with wine pairing which was amazing and took all the angst out of deciding - can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.

We were a party of 5 and made an online reservation for 3:45 pm. We arrive at 3:54 . The check in desk told us that the kitchen will close at 4pm and that we were late and she was not sure if we can still be accomodated. She went inside and then came back out and told us that yes we can go inside but we have to hurry to order before 4pm.. we got hurriedly seated and we quickly browse the menu. And made our choices. My question is , why would an online reservation be offered for 3:45pm if the kitchen will close at 4pm . I deducted 2 star on their service because of the kind of welcome we receive on arrival. Orherwise, The food tasted good as expected and the tower and river view was beautiful .

Perfect views, excellent service and fresh food and the kind of detail you want on date night and special occasions. It’s just the easiest and most sure way of having a home run when you have an important meal when you want to be able to enjoy yourself or impress others.

We have a wonderful dinner at this restaurant with an amazing view. The food and service were both excellent. It’s a perfect place for special occasions. We are visiting from Boston. We will return during our next visit.

We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful table, and were delighted to be seated where we were. Gorgeous, gorgeous setting. The tasting menu was quite good, with a fabulous sweet and savory foie first course, followed by a delicious ceviche, then, OMG, an egg, tuna and black truffle dish. Fabulous! Next was a lovely sea bass, although with more than a few bones. The final savory was a pork course…. ~80% fat. I couldn’t eat much. Dessert was a whimsical play on creamy coffee pop-rocks. The service was kind, but not highly attentive (had to ask for wine and went with any empty glass for a couple courses until I spoke up), but courses were served and not rushed. Because of the decor, setting, and the standout third course, we definitely would return and certainly recommend. A few faults made it a non-Michelin Star-worthy experience, but could be improved to make it so, with such promise to get there.

The service was appalling. We were offered the option to pay extra for "premium service" at a window table. After we declined, having already been seated, my mother and I were ignored for 20-30 minutes before we managed to ask a passing waitress to bring us menus. The waitress who did pay attention to us was not able to discuss the menu at all; her English was terrible, but she would not engage with my equally weak but workable Spanish. Later, we were unpleasantly surprised to be charged for the amuse-bouche we hadn't ordered (which I noticed was crossed off the bill of a neighboring table with male diners) and for the bread we had declined but were served anyway. The food was very good but not superb. We might have received decent service if the concierge of our 5-star hotel had made the reservation for us, but I wouldn't go back to a restaurant where the quality of service felt so transactional. I would definitely not recommend the restaurant for parties of women only.

Booked this restaurant to celebrate a 25th anniversary. It started off ok...shown too our seats, ordered cocktails...while looking at menu. We were asked if we needed a couple of minutes too decide what we wanted...said yes. 20+ minutes later we were attended to. Lady took order without writing anything down. As expected the order was wrong...ordered 2 bread starters, recieved 1. Ordered goats cheese plater...was dry to eat. Before we finished bread it was whisked away by a waiter who seemed to have an attitude. Main course arrived...Monk fish which was bony and cold. Steak which was rare despite requesting well done. Asked for mash with steak..recieved boiled potatoes. When we mentioned this to " attitute" waiter he snatched items away without so much as an apology. By the they arrived back with fish, still no mash, all other side dishes had gone cold. When we complained to " attitude" man he abrubtly cleared all items from the table. Ive run out space to type the rest....just avoid!

The restaurant and its setting along the river were beautiful, but for top dollar prices, the food and service were disappointing. One waiter was excellent and friendly, but the second server was rather rude, and brought my husband a drink in a dirty glass, and then did not replace the drink when she brought a new, empty glass. She also did not check in once after the food was delivered to see if we needed anything (which we did... a new drink!) The food should have been excellent but was mediocre instead. My husband's steak was just okay and small for the price. My rice and scallops had only one large scallop, sliced thinly, at the bottom of the bowl. For that price and that level of dining experience, I expected 5-6 large scallops. The rice was fine, but nothing exceptional. This was supposed to be a celebratory dinner, but it was more hype than value. We weren't even seated next to the window, so there wasn't much of a view. I really wanted to love this place, but I won't return.

The view was beautiful as we had window seats with a view overlooking the river with the cathedral tower, golden tower and a Triana bridge all lit up in the night. Our foods presentation and taste was spectacular. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend to everyone visiting the area. We ordered the crab and tuna starter, 35 aged serlion and bass for our mains, with the coffee disaster and chocolate desserts, accompanied with a bottle of locally crafted dry wine. The chef also provided us with a starting and finishing apitisers. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos to share as we were fully engaged with the ambience. I can understand that some would find this place slightly pricey compared to the local restaurants we have visited, but don't the that put you off, as the entire night only cost €200. It could cost more as they have a wine list that even I had to take a second look at. 10,000, but most of the wines range from £30 to £90.

We celebrated my birthday at Abades Triana, and I’m so glad we didn’t cancel despite mixed TripAdvisor reviews. We reserved a special table by the window, which included a glass of bubbles and an amuse-bouche for €15 each—definitely a nice touch for the occasion. The service was excellent from start to finish, with attentive care from the hostess, waiter, and food runner. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings, and both the presentation and taste exceeded our expectations. It was a memorable dining experience that felt special without feeling overpriced. Highly recommend for any celebration!

You’re paying for the view here. This was at best one out of five stars. The service was absolutely deplorable. We weren’t given menus for at least 25min after being seated. The only person that acknowledged us was the jamon carver (he was amazing) Obviously the expectation for any European fine dining experience is longer than you would expect in the states, but this was three hours and the timing was off for every single course.

Sitting overlooking the river under blue skies was amazing, while eating really good food. It was a special occasion so we splurged on one of the tasting menus, which didn't disappoint. Service was excellent and nicely paced.

I almost never post reviews but for this place I really had to. First, it’s obvious the restaurant is trying hard. Great location, friendly staff and extensive menu however, that does not make a great restaurant. The reception is like a hotel lobby and the culinary execution, sadly leaves you scratching your head. The food is mediocre at best. We ordered tomato carpaccio and we got bruschetta like chopped tomatoes with bread chips. We orders king crab and prawn salad and got potatoes salad with what we think was a purée of mush crab presented like something that belongs in a Sponge Bob cartoon. I wish I could upload a picture !! We got a laugh but the eating was awful. Overall, what an odd place.

The restaurant itself was extremely cold inside - uncomfortably so. The food was just "OK". My rice with scallops and "Lobster juice" was too salty `and had maybe one scallops. The Crab and shrimp salad was terrible - it really was a large potato salad. Couldn't find the crab or the shrimp. The steak was good. The ox tail was OK - not very well presented. An average restaurant with a nice view and very overpriced for the food we had.

We arrived early and was asked to wait. No bar so it felt like we were in the cloakroom! Food was excellent. Wine was superb. The Iberian ham was served at the table and was a real treat.

The food was really disappointing. The restaurant looks really great and its the reason we booked it. However, the maitre d was gruff and unfriendly and this set the tone for the evening. The main course when it arrived was luke warm and we had to send one of the dishes back to the kitchen. The staff were not attentive and we found ourselves having to wave our arms to get attention. Way overpriced for the food and service we received.
