9.5/10The food was excellent as usual. I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic experience of Ethiopian food and ambiance. I love that they play Ethiopian music in the background. The only negative thing is not serving an authentic Ethiopian dessert.

8.5/10Delicious food and warm staff. However, ordering and speed of getting food is quite slow, even at a non-rush meal time. Had to chase people a bit to put in orders, and took about twenty minutes to get drinks. If you are not in a rush, excellent food, just be prepared.

3.5/10Four of us having a dinner, 2 vegetarian dishes, 2 meat dishes this evening. The beef is suspected to cause a serious food poisoning of two meat eaters - vomiting, diarrhea..... this experience covered all other experiences of the evening

8.5/10Good food, restaurant has been in Lausanne for decades so proof of quality. Strange that we couldn’t get tap water ? Is it because of the fork reduction? Other table seems to get it ? Anyway good place to go in particular for vegetarians.

5.5/10This was not the first time in this restaurant. In general, there is a good atmosphere, the staff is kind and the food is good. This time was not like this, with a almost empty restaurant, we had to ask 3 times to have water and napkins. The normal basic service was not there... and the food was not great. With so many Ethiopian restaurants in Lausanne, we won’t return To this one.

6/10We tried this restaurant taking the -50% deal offered by The Fork. To our surprise, the full menú was not available, as opposed to what was advertised. Only the degustation menu was available, so we could not choose. The restaurant was quite full, but there was only one waitress. She was doing her best, but we had to wait long for being sited, taken the order and served. The food was OK but was not what we expected. I only wanted chicken, but the set menu was mainly beef and lentils. The dessert was also fixed and it came with pineapple, which I’m allergic to, so I could not eat it. The highlight was the coffee, it was really good.

9/10Lovely and welcoming staff. The food was excellent and a really great value with the Fork discount. The lamb, samosas, and Ethiopian coffee were great. Highly recommend.

10/10- Authentic look & feel: You can choose between traditional seats and table or for those who prefer the regular chairs & tables. - The food also came in traditional plates and tasted really good, definitely something we want to experience again
