The oyster appetizer is excellent, Nice amouse bouche. Good glass of white wine (limited selection by the glass though). They forget the bread (hope they didn’t charge me. I didn’t look). I’d avoid the Ukranian dishes (sorry chef, you’re good but the Ukrainian cuisine is too rich). I didn’t try the meats, but they sounded good. The lobster pasta theh guy next to me ordered looked good. Very friendly staff. Lot of Englishh speaking patrons, even though it’s off the tourist beaten path. Easy to park. Overall a good experience. I’d say the food is rated a little high.

+1This was absolutely the best find of our holiday and I would challenge you to find better food in the Algarve, at what was a very reasonable price. The food was amazing, the service so friendly and helpful and the extra touches such as an amuse bouche at the start and beautiful chocolate and marshmallow to finish, topped off a superb evening. Oh and the very reasonably priced lovely local wine too!! Please go, this place deserves the recognition for its beautifully presented delicious food.

We had a fantastic experience, the food was absolutely delicious, the female server/ waitress was very friendly and gave great recommendations on the menu as all the dishes looked so good it was hard to choose. Portion sizes were very good, we had oysters, starters and mains, we had to share a desert as we were full. Also a delightful ambience in the restaurant. Highly recommended restaurant.

The best restaurant in the area, international cuisine with a twist. Beautiful interior and helpful and friendly staff. The chef is great and passionate of what he’s doing. Worth every penny. Will be back!

Restaurant interior was modern & nicely done Service was excellent Food was good but not quite the ‘wow’ we were expecting During our stay in Albuferia we did have tastier better value meals The Fork gave us 30% of otherwise meal would have been expensive for what it was

+2This restaurant is so good we ended up going two nights in a row. The oysters were incredible, along with everything else we tried. The wait staff is wonderful - very attentive (thank you José!). They also have a pastelaria next door which we are going to try. A definite must if you are in the Albufeira region.

Lovely staff & restaurant is lovely. Food is great: a bit different from those nearby and food is beautifully presented. My meal was great- main was fillet mignon-perfectly cooked. But Hubby’s cod confit was cold & full of bones. To be fair, he’d had it previously and it was great. Spoiled evening for him.

The food and service beyond excellent. All the staff helpful, friendly and all went beyond the extra mile. Perfect in every where possible. Great value for money,and the best food and service we have had while holidaying in Portugal. Will definitely go to this restaurant again, next time we holiday in Portugal. Many thanks once again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic restaurant excellent service, definitely the best meal and restaurant myself, and family have enjoyed whilst in Albufeira. Recommend by a friend and it didnt disappoint. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent quality food and the desserts are to die for (superb presentation and taste). Lovely surroundings although one member of the serving team was a.little snooty for our liking

Date night meal. The menu was delightfully minimal. The products were good quality with interesting combinations. I am not a dessert eater normally but tried the Mille-Feuille. Delicious. A dessert but not overly sweet which was perfect. The glasses, crockery were all elegant & tasteful. When you arrive, the area looks a little run down, but do not be put off. It is well worth a visit & you will be rewarded with a delicious meal

Disappointing Turn After a Promising Start We arrived to be told there would be no cocktails that evening due to the restaurant expecting to be busy even though we the first guests to arrive not ideal, but we accepted it without issue. Things started well with the oysters, which were fresh and very good. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t follow suit. We ordered four small-plate-style starters: a chicken Kiev-style dish, an oxtail brioche sandwich, and a tuna tataki. All were noticeably under-seasoned, which left them falling flat despite interesting-sounding concepts. For mains, we had the octopus and the black pork cheek. While the pork was decent, both dishes felt very similar in presentation and texture, with the only real difference being a carrot on one plate and a red pepper on the other. The overall texture was one-note, with everything blending into a soft mash lacking contrast or structure. We didn’t stay for dessert, having already mentally checked out by that point
