For the price and rating to much bread and starch only a few grams of fish or meat served Matching wine mediocre nothing special for the price would have been better off ordering one bottle of something decent. usually when I have gotten wine selection good wine was served and it was more than just a few drops. The entire wine service was less than the individual glass I ordered when we arrived. Over all I would never return or recommend this restaurant

The taste and service and the plates are very good. It was a good combination of sense of taste and sight. Also wine was very good. Totally very well experinece.

We went for my wife’s birthday and the food was very good. But there was a couple that hijacked the whole evening. Talking loudly. Showing photos to the staff. Telling stories. That is not the restaurants fault. But the sommelier actually made it worse by engaging and exasperating the issue. The other 3 couples sitting with this awful 4th couple in the back, all separate couples, had their evenings ruined by this. Will never go back just at the risk of seeing that couple or having the atmosphere ruined. Incredibly disappointing.

Beautiful space with knowledgeable staff and finely crafted food. The dishes were well course and had a thoughtful progression of flavor. Service was attentive and kind and accommodated our time constraints without sacrificing the experience.

Outstanding dishes (especially the “without clams”) and very professional service and wine recommendations. We will definitely go back. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I have visited many one star restaurants and is a little disappointed. The vine, service and the atmosphere was up to the expectations but the food was not. We have the eight corse menu. The food lacked the finesse and flavour misses some punch. Not bad but not up to the expectations.

Extremely kind and competent staff. Cuisine is superior in every way. Think, deconstructed Roman cuisine. Chef personally greeted us, which we VERY much appreciated. Highly recommend for a notch-up Roman experience.

Food and is really good and wine pairing too. The situation is that 4 hours for a 5-course dining is quite excesive. After so long time, it feels like more waiting than dining. Perhqps the waiters forgot we were there… Summary: good food, mediocre service. Something needs to be done.

The service was nice and the wine was good, but food was very much below expectations. All dishes lacked a coherent composition and didn’t really taste much better than an average flight meal. The risotto was way to al dente, but still thick, fatty and stale. The pasta was dry and was probably sitting waiting for service for a long time before it got to our table. The filling of the ravioli was so fatty is was almost impossible to eat it. The scrimp-dish had a lettuce gel that was tastless and gave the dish a wierd texture. All in all the food was just bad.. if i was part of guide michelin i would be ashamed of givning this place any recognation.

The experience itself was amazing. The staff is great. The food was wonderful and they surprise you with different kinds of bread along the dinner. Also pastries at the end, as a courtesy. The wine selection is huge, plenty of options and they are happy to give you recommendations.

We had the 8 course fixed menu with wine pairings and while all of the food was amazing, two dishes in particular stood out. The tortellini was unbelievable! Now I can’t eat tortellini again anywhere else haha! The cod was also amazing. I’ve never seen such perfectly cooked cod - the meat was so white, it almost didn’t look real. Wine pairings were perfect for each course and the restaurant itself is beautiful!

I found it was all right but I didn't find the food up to par with my previous experience there. Some dish were one note and honestly could have used a little salt in some case.

+1Excellent service, very good tasting menu, with the possibility to choose specific dishes or leave some out. The benefit of going into the wine store next door to choose a wine to go with your dinner adds to the experience and tunes it to your personal preference!

The food was very good overall - only that risotto was average. Unfortunately the sommelier was not polite in handling a comment that the glass of Sancerre did not taste good. He insisted rather patronizing that I do not like Sauvignon blanc grape! We visit Michelin restaurants very frequently and drink fine wines and I actually love the grape. I do not think the service is deserving of one star compared to others we have been to.

Very interesting and unique choices by the chef prepared perfectly. The wine pairing was one of the best I have had to mutually enhance wine and food.

In my view, this was the most overpriced venue we have been to. The “sea spaghettoni” were said to be made of five different sauces combined to one. That, however, let the tomato base of one of the sauces merely dominated the final sauce. Hence, it was spaghetti with tomato sauce. The wine pairing comprised some truly good wines. But two bottles were emptied in our glasses so that a good part of the small portion contained sediments. Though Argon gas can preserve the wine for some time from oxidation, there is a limit and I think one of the wines already lost taste. Also, it isn’t usually a good idea to serve an expensive complex red wine with a spicy dish. On the positive side, the interior was splendid, waiters were nice, friendly and attentive. Our experience wasn’t bad, but simply didn’t match expectations for a restaurant that is highly rated, recommended by michelin and charges prices in the upper range.

This was an exceptional experience. The team that served us was excited about the food they were serving. The price fixed menu that we chose was better than we expected. The team provided some extras during the transitions. The front of the restaurant is a wine shop with a large varietals to choose. It was very fun to go out to the wine shop to select what wines we wanted for the evening by actually looking and comparing. The only thing that was noticed was at the end of the night we were the last in the restaurant and beyond the time they usually close. Note, we were late for our reservation and they did not make anything of it. They treated us as if we were right on time. I can't wait to go there again when next in Rome.

This restaurant is a gem! Impeccable food and service! The food was amazing and I love how each course was a surprise, plus their wine selection was exceptional. We dined at a lot of fine dining restaurants during our time in Italy and this one topped the list! 10/10, we will be back!!

The new chef of the Achilli is an outstanding cook with an excellent view on how to amaze with an experience we may call magical. His level of innovation and astounding performance is beyond everything we ever had the possibility to taste. Flavors are mixed in an unforeseen manner and we liked especially that he dares to establish hot spices in those harmonies. The vine list of course is high high end and pure joy. The service is superb. For me a two star Michelin experience.

I went here with my son. We both enjoyed the dining experience. The staffs were attentive and sweet. They made eyes contact with me effortlessly which tickles my heart. The food was as they said “a representation of the chef”. I have eaten at numerous Michelin three stars establishments and I hope that Achilli will soon get their recognition. Thank you for cooking from the bottom of your heart. I am utmost grateful for a memorable evening. From San Diego CA

Very strange position is the restaurant: you have to choose the same menu for everybody, but my wife doesn’t eat meat, I can eat everything with meat as a result nobody were satisfied. But nice vines and champagne- wide choice.

Attentive service, excellent food, intentional pacing of courses, and lovely decor. We chose the five course tasting menu with wine pairings, which we felt was a good decision. Eight courses may have been too much of a good thing. Highly recommended!

+3This little restaurant is a gem and must be visited. Back of a wine shop holding a Michelin Star. It’s a truly great experience and the only Michelin eatery in the world where you can drink a wine for the price you’d pay to take it home. Amazingly thought out food too. If you’re in rome, go here!!

Fabulous restaurant at the back of a wine shop! Food was wonderful, stand out courses were risotto with oxtail reduction and chocolate and tangerine deserts ! Wine pairings were great and would thoroughly recommend

The menu was amazing. The chef curated it for us after enquiring about any allergies or dietary restrictions. We chose the 5 course menu and each course was delicious and surprising. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
