This meal was the highlight of my trip. We did a lunch booking and brought our two children, ages 9 and 11, and chose the four course tasting menu. Our kids are picky eaters, and mostly just eat pizza, so we did not expect them to eat too much, but wanted them to experience the pleasures of a good meal. The staff was extremely accommodating and give us good tips for picky eaters, like calling green things dinosaur food. 😄 The children tried a couple bites of every course and ended up pretty full by the end. I felt like each course was a lot of food so we weren’t able to finish every course, to the concern of our waiter, but it was all really incredible, some really fun, pairings, and unexpected creative concoctions. When I imagine French dining, I imagine it something like this. We had a lot of excellent meals during our two week stay in Paris, but this one was my favorite.

Little known in an unlikely neighborhood, this is the kind of gem that one can pride oneself on discovering (at least, I do!). It is run in partnership by a masterful chef who delivers perfect dishes and desserts, and the wine expert who will find the perfect pairings for your choice of food.

We had a remarkable New Years Eve dinner at the acme restaurant. Great food, very friendly service, fair price. We will definitely be back during our next Paris visit. Very recommendable restaurant!
