This establishment is truly the best at it's craft of fine Italian Cuisine. This is my parents and I 7th visit to this outstanding establishment on 05/09/2025 for dinner. We are always warmly welcomed by Chef Elena and Culinary Team of truly the Best Italian Cuisine in Tavira. Antonio the host & server is remarkable at what he does. Now to the food, we started off with cocktails & starters, my father had the melon & prosciutto which he absolutely enjoyed, my mother had the Mediterraneana insalada, she absolutely enjoyed, I had the garlic bread with extra garlic, wonderful! The three of us opted for the Spaghetti Puttanasca, let me tell you it's truly the best, beautiful flavors that wow the palate. We ended with dessert, parents had the mango cheesecake & I had the Pistachio Tiramisu with tart cherry, it was life changing! As a Culinarian/Foodie I Highly Recommend Acqua E Sale! Tell them Charlie sent ya!

10/10Busy but still great service & friendly staff. The ravioli with gorgonzola & pear was out of this world. Will definitely return - book ahead if possible, the restaurant was busy & had a queue outside.

Don’t hesitate – this place is a must! A hidden gem in Tavira! A fantastic Italian restaurant with a top chef who clearly knows what she’s doing. The pizza is excellent, and the freshly made pasta is absolutely delicious. Tip: try the puttanesca – pure in flavor, no parmesan, just as it should be. The pasta with Sicilian pesto is also divine! The service is friendly, fast, and very attentive. They serve a fine selection of wines, all at the perfect temperature. Don’t be fooled by the slightly dated exterior – behind that modest façade lies a truly wonderful culinary experience. Thank you for the amazing food 🍝🍷

10/10This was our second visit to Tavira on our first visit we could not get a table, so we booked early for our second visit. We were not disappointed the food was excellent. The starter we shared was a selection of meats and cheese was sheer quality and ravioli we both had was the best. Going back next week before we go home.

10/10Excellent pizza and friendly service. It's a small establishment but the ambience is fine. We visited three times during our stay in Tavira and found the quality of the food to be very good on all occasions. If you like pizza I am happy to recommend this restaurant to you.

10/10As soon as you walk in the door, the aroma of authentic Italian food hits you. The menu offered a good, varied selection of dishes. I had Lasagne, it was delicious, be warned it's a huge portion. Accompanied by a delicious fresh salad with parmesan shavings and sliced pear. Staff were attentive and offered good service.

10/10We've been meaning to try here for some months and so happy we did. The food was incredible, especially the home made pasta! The service from Antonio was great, he was relaxed, smiling and very helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

10/10Our waiter Antonio was very helpful and attentive. The food was simple with very good fresh ingredients. We had a lovely apple , walnut and parmesan salad to start, the truffle and buffalo cheese in homemade ravioli was delicious . Also had a very good pizza .A bit hard to find but worth the effort. We will be back if in Tavira again.

10/10From the moment we walked through the door we knew this was the perfect restaurant. The server was very friendly and helpful and attentive. The food was generous and delicious - pizzas, pasta, tiramisu - all handmade and tasty! We liked it so much we went back the next night as well!

8.5/10It’s easy to walk past this restaurant as the outside has no menu or information visible. We were greeted nicely and our table for eight was ready for us. The menu is simple but decent value. The pastas were good and came out hot. The pizzas were quite dry and the crusts rather bland. One item came incorrectly but they claimed we’d ordered it, which we hadn’t, so wouldn’t swap it. So we ordered an additional main so that diner didn’t go hungry. Wine list was ok with Italian and Portuguese wines. Cocktails were average.

4/10Unfortunately I had a bad experience I had been to the restaurant 3 times in 10 days the first time it was ok the second time my food was cold and the third time the ingredients in the pasta was undercooked pork cheek which made me extremely sick! I pointed out to the chef it was not cooked properly but she was dismissive
