9.5/10The chef really pushes the boundaries with flavour, white asparagus ice cream and black garlic desserts just to name a few! Service was impeccable and very attentive. Atmosphere was nice, quite formal but relaxed at the same time. Stand out courses were the snacks, sweetbread and pigeon. Overall a fantastic meal!

7.5/10It started very well. But it quickly went down after the bad pastas. I think by trying to make something too different they ended up mixing too much ingredients and things and I actually felt ill afterwards. That’s definitely something you don’t want after paying for such a pricey meal.

10/10Top notch, 5+++ rating for Aquolina for us. Impeccable food and service. The 7 course seafood tasting menu was breath-taking - and the thoughtful additional supplements that kept coming were lovely interludes. The cocktails were innovative and bold (I've never had an anchovy flavoured drink ever and it was yum!) and the service was peerless to a fault. All in all - our last meal in Italy was our best in a long, long while!

10/10A few tables with privacy. The lighting is both intimate and clear. Perfect service, divine food and wine paring. Creative, unexpected, beautiful, all of us left having spend a marvellous and unforgettable evening. Will go back, inviting along people that can appreciate sophistication.

8.5/10Acquolina was truly an amazing experience with some standout dishes like their Chickpea Langoustine Pasta and the Lentil Mont Blanc. The true star for me though was their selection of bread served with a garum butter. The portion sizes as well are much larger compared to other Michelin restaurants, so you can easily be filled up by the end of dinner. Overall, Acquolina is a really good and I want to thank the whole staff for taking such great care of us, especially Carlos.

10/10We have been to a few Michelin restaurants, but this one was without a doubt our favourite so far. From the quality, creativity, and taste of the food to the service and details like choice of cutlery and music, everything was just wonderful. The filled pasta with crispy eel was our favourite. If we are in Rome again, we will return!

10/10The room was modern and elegant and they acknowledge our anniversary and gave us a special table. The device was impeccable. The word no didn’t exist. The food was everything and more you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. The chef’s welcome bites were amazing flavor “bombs” bravo and the tasting menu was creative, delicious and really well composed. We had a great evening Thank you ????????

10/10We have enjoyed a memorable dinner by Acquolina. All staffs are polite and professional. We have choice both tasting menu with wine pairing. The food is excellence and wine is precisely selected to suit. If we really need to add any comments, I will say the portion could be a little bit big for aged people like us although the staffs has reminded us and suggested we may not need to clear off every dishes. However, who can stop?

10/10This is a truly outstanding restaurant. The good is complex and at the same time wonderfully enjoyable. The staff is extremely professional. They establish the perfect balance of friendliness, availability and seriousness. I can't wait to go back!

8/10We had an exceptionally great time at Acquolina. The service was excellent, our waiter was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and the dishes were all beautiful and held many surprises. Given the creative nature of the dishes, some of them were wonderful, pleasant surprises, but some others were not my personal cup of tea. Even so, food presentation and taste-wise, our course deserves at least a 98/100. For the last two points (for me personally), the tiny strawberries in the kefir dish needed to be a little fresher and/or less bruised and the wonderful homemade bread needed to drop less crumbs/bread flakes when broken (maybe an impossible task or not even a real critique, but I felt guilty making a mess of bread-crumb confetti that my waiter had to clean up every time I ripped a pice off of the loaf. I wanted to eat more of it but weighed that against the risk of making a huge mess). The music-instrumental selection was mostly good, but “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” should 100% not be on your playlist. Love the song, but it feels a little out of place with the ambiance of the place.

10/10All the dishes were creative and delicious. We really appreciated how the courses were creative, and still had an Italian flair. Service was top notch and we left full. Well deserved 2*.

6/10Overall, the dining experience was great. I don't think the woman who served us wine is an experienced server given how she dealt with the bottle and how she pours wine into the glass (she spilled wine) but it did not ruin the overall experience as the food made up for it. I liked the pace in which the food was served as I like it littler quicker (compared to typically italian customers)

5.5/10Tasting menu was risky with ups and sharp downs. One plate is good then next one is too dissapointing and vice versa. The staff was good. Ambiance was too simple, in a boring way. I would expect much better experience for this money.

7.5/10The food was great, tasty, and experimental. One of us was allergic to a few things, and they did a good job of avoiding the allergens and making a menu specifically for them. However, the ambience was not great. The room lacked brightness and warmth. The vibe was slightly cold, and so was the service. The waiters, though professional, polite, and meticulous, lacked warmth and personality. We were surprised that there was no sommelier to properly recommend wines and explain the wine tasting menu.

Dear Mr Leo, Our sommeliere Enrica take care of you suggesting a choice of four different white wine of different Italian regions after you communicated you preferences. The final choice was on Trebbiano di Abbruzzo Valentini. About the wine pairing, every single glass was served explaining the provenience, grape, producer and vintage. You also had informations and details about our choice to serve that particular wine on that particular dish. In our restaurant, for 20 coverts, we do have two sommeliers and one assistent sommelier. 10/10The tables were widely spaced out which was refreshingly different from most restaurants. The staff were very attentive a knowledgeable. The fish tasting menu had innovative and delicious items beautifully presented. Each course contained interesting and sometimes surprising items/combinations I had never had before. This place has earned its Michelin status.

7.5/10The food was good but to inconsistent one dish was perfect and the others where meh. The pasta dishes where nothing special and not worth it. The service was mostly good but after asking twice for a new water bottle it still didn’t come but we still got charged for it they didn’t even apologize for it.

6/10The restaurant is all good, however the portions are quite large and we ended leaving the restaurant early without finishing the full diner since we got sick. A bit disappointing for a restaurant with a michelin star.

8.5/10Starters were just fantastic. Service impeccable. The Jon Dori was too salty in our opinion as well as the Amberjack. Some of the dishes were not well balanced while others were amazing. This restaurant is on the pricier side. Highly recommend Zia instead.
