Truly delightful experience! We ordered the omakase menu and every course was a pleasant surprise! Sandro introduced all the dishes in a lovely calm manner and we love the little stories he shares about the ingredients. Ad Maiora is a must go and eat when you are in Modena!

+1Everything about this place is absolutely fantastic. Michelin star touches like every table being allocated a small stool to rest bags off the floor. The food was faultless, full of flavour and presented beautifully. Without doubt the best dining experience I’ve had during a week in Modena and Bologna. Will 100% be back again. Bravo.

Excellent food. We opted for the chefs menu (4 plate) and was extraordinary. The pairing is marvellous! A definite must to go in Modena

Staff was very welcoming and attentive. The service is formal yet friendly. The open kitchen is a nice touch, where you can watch the chefs at work. The food was good, dishes were creative.

Amazing Food experience in Modena! Service was wonderful and children friendly! My wife and I enjoyed the tasting menu while they provided wonderful pastas for our children. This experience is Michelin star deserving. Thank you very much.

It is a small, elegant Restaurant with well-distanced tables and good jazz in the background not too loud so you can talk. The contemporary international menu has interesting combinations of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. Price adequate for the level.

Excellent restaurant deserving of at least one Michelin star-or 2! Very creative cooking, superlative service, great decor, colorful & intimate and as a bonus, you can see the chef owner preparing your meal in the open kitchen. I had amazing scallops followed by a risotto carneroli accompanied by an excellent open wine, Barbera d’Asti. For dessert, to die for chocolate fondant with salted caramel core and popcorn with honey. Very reasonable prices, definitely compared to Firenze & even Bologna. Highly recommended.

Take your time to seek out Ad Maiora, tucked away on Via Nazario Sauro. Everything was outstanding; the ambience, the attentive and knowledgeable service and the beautifully presented food, which overall provided exceptional value. In particular, the sweet & sour pancina maiale was sublime. A real gem !!
