3.5/10First, making a reservation on The Fork only permitted a 5:00 or 5:30 time selection. but our hotel could easily change it to 7;00. Other reviews about them pushing the lobster were spot-on accurate. Presenting a massive book of available wines, the sommelier was eager to point to the more expensive ones. There were so many wines listed that the diner could not possibly make his or her own selection unless one is an authority on Italian wines. The bread service was ordinary. The restaurant should be embarrassed to serve the tempura shrimp appetizer for 35 euros consisting of 3 battered shrimp that were 2/3 batter and 1/3 shrimp. The sea bass was good enough placed on a bed of very ordinary mashed potatoes, although overcooked. The pistachio flan dessert, titled Eden, was dry and not worthy to bear the name of the hotel. The frequent exclamation "Mama Mia" heard throughout the evening all over the restaurant was annoying.

Dear Mr. Donald, I', sorry you haven't liked too much dinner with us and I thank you for providing some details. I will try to respond to a few points, possibly. The Fork is only one of the platforms where the restaurant may be booked. A reservation with no credit card as a guarantee is available until 5pm. This explains the limitation on the time of booking you have noticed, since the app you used does not require any guarantee. We were kind enough to move the time of dining in order to extend courtesy and gratitude to a hotel partner, in your case; thank you! The wine list is large, you are right. A sommelier is there to assist you on the choice. You are not required to be a wine master, but you may count on the assistance of the person in charge, obviously. Instead of buying bread from outside, like many others, we have an in-house production made by the pizza Chef Francesco Persico. You are the first person in the last two years who didn’t appreciate the quality of the product, but this is acceptable and very personal, certainly, just like the valuation of the rest of the meal. We will try to improve what we can, for sure, as always. My very best regards

10/10Our experience was one of delight and that was because all things came together beautifully!!!! Our waiter was especially attentive and every request on our part was met with quick response and kindness. We had the fillet for our main course and it was prepared exactly to our liking! I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly!

8.5/10Its food, service, and view from the table(ours was window-side) were very amazing. If possible, to reserve a window-side table is recommend. In addition, staff members of front desk were friendly and gave us warmhearted services so, hotel-stay also recommended, although we hadn’t.

9.5/10The head and waiters where fantastic, really made our anniversary meal. it was a very humid day so had to sit downstairs and not on the terrace but they made the effort to make it a special. would highly recommend. Thanks to Franco and Carlo!

4/10The views are amazing HOWEVER the food is not worth the price at all , I ordered a risotto that was too mushy and the flavours are so bland. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites and the waiter didn’t bother to ask me if everything was okey, until the end where I explained that it wasn’t edible for me and the waiter just said « oh okey » … very disappointed !

7/10I wanted to like this place so bad. But I guess it’s true that sometimes you pay for the view and not the food. The view is stunning, feels absolutely magical. The food is just okay, the portions are small and it’s extremely expensive for what you get in my opinion. If you’re booking this place for the setting and pictures, please also keep in mind that the restaurant is surrounded by glass windows and if you don’t get that one corner table, you’ll have to ask the people sitting there to move in order to get them. You’ll get much better pics from the hotel bar and I suppose less expensive as well.

10/10This restaurant has it all...great views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, just far enough up on the cliffs to be away from most of the hustle and bustle. The food was excellent as was the service. Have already recommended it to fellow travelers.

10/10The experience was excellent from the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant. I reserved it months prior & they remembered it was a birthday. Bringing out candles in the desserts without having to ask. Food was beautiful. Cocktails were delicious. Couldn’t fault it! More expensive than other places we went to, but worth every penny!

10/10We were made to feel very special by all the staff but Chris deserves a special mention. He was friendly and attentive The food was brilliant and the views to die for !! It's a must if you are in positano. Just a 7 min walk from the harbour Well worth it on every level

10/10The food at Adamo ed Eva was the best one we had in Italy. Our waiter was excellent and made it a fun dining experience. The only thing that would have made this the perfect dinner is if we could have sat on the roof top section instead of the section just below it.
