9/10A second visit the same week as I really enjoyed my previous meal. An I did again this time. Service was a bit slower this time although it was nice to be recognized upon arrival. As the discount also applies to daily specials the meal is an excellent deal

9.5/10The environment is quiet; the TV is on but soundless and the tables are appropriately spaced. Seats are comfortable and the tables are large enough to place all plates. Good choice of traditional Portuguese dishes. I had a grilled fish and it was excellent and nicely presented. It was part of the day's dishes and, with the discount, proved to be an excellent deal.

It was already the 4th time we came here. The service is always so welcoming and warm. The best Arroz de Mariscos in Lisbon (we tried already a lot for years in Lisbon) so trust is!

An excellent meal. I had shrimp as an appetizer and bacalhau as the main course to experience a good example of traditional Portuguese food. I could have done with a half portion of each. The food was delicious, the waitress was delightful and it was exactly the type of place I was looking for.

8/10This time we booked in the main room which is more comforting than the one at the entrance (and service more present). Food continues to be of very good quality: we ordered a dish for two and it could easily serve three people (good and plenty). Fairly wide choice of wines at reasonable prices. The Fork discount makes it a very good deal.

9.5/10The food was excellent, the wine recommendation was spot on, and the restaurant itself was comfortable and classy. The service was professional and helpful. Two of us had steak, one had fish, all came with sides unexpectedly, so we had over ordered vegetables. All the food was delicious. The only caveat was, though we had an early dinner and only two tables in the whole restaurant were filled when we arrived, they had put us right next to each other. A little space would have been nice. But overall well worth revisiting, especially for the wine. Pricey for Portugal, but cheaper than the US for the same quality.

7.5/10Good food, friendly waiters. Having guests grill food at tables (e.g. fondue, grilled shrimps) causes a lot of smoke in the dining room. Our clothes smelled of smoke when we left the restaurant, even if we were in another room adjacent to the one where people were grilling food.

7.5/10Good food prepared with adequate ingredients. Waiters are courteous and helpful. Try to avoid the dining room in the middle as you will be listening to all the noise coming from the kitchen, on top of the cook's private music selection along the restaurant's background music. When we ate there we could hear the cook shouting at the staff in the kitchen.

The food quality was impeccable. We ordered "tamboril panado com gambas" which was plenty and tasty! We also followed the wine suggestion from the staff which was spot on. The only downside was the music: a mix of jazz / bossa nova and suddenly, disco (which I believe is not appropriate). Recommended.

10/10The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the Cataplana with Tamboril as a main course. This was also served with shrimp, mussels and potatoes. Delicious pure taste. They no longer had the bottle of vinho verde we chose, but they suggested us another bottle and it was absolutely perfect. We will come back here soon!

9.5/10Adega do Costa is all about the quality of the food. Traditional Portuguese meat and fish dishes made with the best ingredients. The "Espetada de tamboril com gambas" (charcoal grilled monkfish and shrimp skewer) is addictive and comes with a large side salad and the most delicious potatoes. The dining rooms are larger than they first appear and brightly lit. Service is personal and professional. This restaurant is perhaps an undiscovered gem. If you are lucky, they will be playing their "famous" Queen/Bowie/Elton John background music during your dinner!
