Food was delicious but please for the love of god don’t order the samosa starters. You will end up selling your kidney just to be able to buy it. The 2 samosa were the smallest I have seen. The samosa’s were 12 euro’s and the mantu was the same price for 2.

The food was really good and very filling, so I recommend not eating much before. The place is really nice inside. It has a cozy feeling

Finger-licking, delicious food! We ordered the Afsana rijstafel ultieme 3-gangen menu and it blew our minds and our taste buds! Highly recommend. Some areas of improvement would be quicker service and better ventilation inside the restaurant - it was a bit stuffy, especially with the kitchen lacking a door to keep the cooking fumes away. Overall, we had an amazing evening there. :)

The only thing we would have loved was a little bit of a bigger table for all this delicious foods. We had the 3-course mail which contained so many amazingly delicious foods. The table was a bit too small to put everything on it. However the food, the service, the atmosphere everything was AMAZING. Me and my fiancee will be back.

Excellent food, especially the aubergine. Lots of herbs and spices. We’ve come here twice and the service is just as great. Would recommend to friends and family.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly service. First time I ate afghan food. I liked the meatballs and the rice most of the ricetable.

They accept yums but don t apply the correct reduction. Place is nice but food is basic not bad not nice either.

We had never tried Afghan food before. Just went there really because it was near our hotel in Rotterdam. It was a sensational find, in every way. Such contrasting and deep flavours. Lovely people as well, and a really relaxed atmosphere.

We came here for the third time already. It is even better than the previous times. The restaurant is very cosy, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The food is delicious and very generous. I thoroughly recommend it.

Very friendly with personal attention for the guests. The chef came into the restaurant afterwards to ask the guests if they had enjoyed their meal and their stay. The food was delicious and more than enough. It looked nice and was - as far as I can tell - genuinely Afghan. All in all I can truly recommend this restaurant to anyone wiling to try something out of the ordinary. This proves to show that Rotterdam Zuid can definitely measure up to Rotterdam Noord!

10 out of 10 for food, drinks, atmosphere, staff and service! I had chosen this restaurant accidentally because I was interested in some "exotic" new taste and I was totally delighted. Best dinner I've had for quite some time.

Special food! A great mix of flavors. Different small dishes that work well together.

The experience at the restaurant could hardly be improved. The food was beyond excellent (with vegetarian options) and the service was really attentive and efficient. The only downside I could find was the price but it could be said to be sufficiently justified by the restaurant’s quality. It also has a really original interior design that adds to the overall Afghaan experience. I will surely come back!

The food was very good. The appetizers were a lot more refined (to our opinion) and seemed more different/authentic than the main course selection. Meat and vegetable portions were just the right size, rice portion was very large. We had a very pleasant chat with the owner after the meal, and we'll definitely visit Afsana again.

A very new restaurant with a nice owner. we had a 3 course menu that tasted really good. I never had afghan food before, but this was really great. a lot of cups with different food inside. I would definitely come back. I can really recommend this restaurant.
