Visited on Santa Lucia day in December. Big day in Syracuse. Food and wine pairings are excellent (Michelin class). Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, wine and service. Nice atmosphere and the three sisters are really polite, helpful and professional (skilled). The restaurant is a family business where we got to visit a small part of their history, and that made the experience even better. Recommended!

This place is one of the best restaurants in Syracuse, and I have tried quite a few of them. It’s different and in a good way: sophisticated but without showing off. Excellent food: inventive, mixing traditional and modern, focused on details, flavor and balance. Great, attentive, very personal service. Good wine list with reasonably priced bottles.

Wow! The food and wine were outstanding and the service delightful. Get here before the Michelin reviewers do. We had the sea bass, red prawns, octopus, and pasta with uni. All wonderful. Enjoy!

Not only was the food delicious, the sisters/owners were charming and gracious. They carefully explained the menu and provided context for the dishes. After almost a week of traditional Sicilian cuisine, their lighter Asian-inspired fare was refreshing and unique! My husband and I both enthusiastically recommend it!

We selected this restaurant because it has wonderful reviews and we were very happy to find out they are true. Personalized service, beautiful food, carefully presented, fantastic blend of flavor, worth doing the tasting menu with wine pairing which is very reasonably priced and a fantastic experience! Thank you and Bravo to the 3 sisters! Will be back!

This was by far the best restaurant we have eaten at in Sicily. What an amazing story of the three sisters (whom we met) who are the owners, chef, sommelier and also wait staff. The food was Japaneses/Mediterranean fushion which you might be skeptical of but was delivered with unbelievable flavor. The wine paired by the sommelier was stunning. If you are in Siracusa this is a not to be missed hidden gem!!!

It's a great restaurant run by three sisters. The chef trained in Italy and Japan and has infused traditional Sicilian dishes with Japanese influences and flavors. The service was personal and charming, and the wine pairings with local wines were well chosen. The olive oil comes from their family grove, and they make many of the ceramics they use. Highly recommended.

We were in Ortigia for 5 nights, ate at several restaurants and this was definitely our favorite. The cooking here really stands out from the rest of the places we tried. If it wasn’t our last night we would have come back again for more! We had the flank steak and the dumplings. Both delicious. Three talented sisters run this restaurant and with a lot of love for food, wine and their guests. Service was stellar. Thank you to Hotel Lumé for recommending it. Only a 10 minute walk from our hotel, just across the bridge that joins Syracusa to Ortigia. On your way home stop at Barcollo for a cocktail! You won’t be disappointed!

Easily the best meal my fiancé and I had in Siracusa…so much so, that we felt compelled to return the following day for lunch. The three sisters who own and operate the restaurant have found a way to capitalize on one another’s individual talents, and come together as a whole to provide a person-centered and detailed fine dining experience. Would recommend to anyone!

What a lovely restaurant! The 3 sisters did an amazing job, the dishes are close to Michelin quality, so it's a pleasant surprise when we stumble on this gem at the edge of Siracusa island. The chef did an excellent job of blending Japanese influences into traditional Sicilian cooking. Both the pastas and the pan-fried branzino were to die for.

This was a last minute booking and we were so glad we went. Our reception was very friendly, with a lovely explanation of the restaurant ethos, family and experience of the 3 sisters who run it. Food choices were wide enough to make it an interesting, then difficult choice. Need to go back! Best food we have had in Sicily all week and we’ve eaten in some excellent rated restaurants. Amuse bouche wet the appetite perfectly/ Ravioli with eggplant delicious as was Capone. Cannoli with orange sorbet perfect end. Good wine advice by the glass.Excellent and highly recommend

This is a family-operated business, three sisters. The youngest sister, Gabriella is an AMAZING chef. We live in both Berkeley, CA and Hudson, NY - both are foodie centers in the United States. Algae far exceeds any of the cooking we have had locally. The gentle, but amazing flavor combinations were fantastic.

The three sisters who manage the restaurant are charming. Everything our group of eight ordered was delicious. The Italian food with flavors of Japan in certain dishes was very original. The quality of the ingredients was high, starting with the delicious bread made by the youngest sister and the olive oil from their family production. The space is lovely. Our conversation paused occasionally as each course was presented and we began to taste.

This was an amazing unexpected find. Restaurant opened in April as a partnership between 3 sisters. All of them have an incredible commitment to providing their guests with a superlative experience, which they definitely achieve. The restaurant provides a fusion of traditional Sicilian dishes with Japanese/Asian influence from the chef's time in Japan. Seafood is incredibly fresh, and every dish we tried was amazing. During our 12 day trip to Sicily we dined in 5 different Michelin-starred restaurants and the food here is as good as any. Very warm hospitality.

An absolutely perfect meal....we ate here for lunch on Christmas Day. Every dish was phenomenal, and the service was super friendly. It's run by three sisters (the youngest is the chef) and it definitely felt like a family affair. An interesting mix of Sicilian and Japanese food. My favorites were the beautiful sashimi with delicious mussels and the pannetone with mandarin cream. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. Tremendous value for the quality of food and service. Grazie.

Aglae storie di sapori is a wonderful new restaurant just across the bridge from Ortigia. The food was absolutely delicious, with a lovely presentation. The restaurant also has a very good wine list to choose from. The restaurant is run by three sisters, with the youngest being a professionally trained chef who also studied in Japan, so the dishes are an interesting take on traditional Sicilian cuisine. A welcome change from the usual fare in Ortigia. Highly recommend!

I am sorry to be this direct, but this restaurant is highly overrated. The food is average and the staff needs training. They are really trying which is endearing, but unfortunately this is not enough to keep customers coming.

A new familiy-run restaurant that was a very pleasant ending of our vacation in Sicily. The food was really delicious, with extraordinary flavours. The interior is appealing, including the use of beautiful family-made ceramics. And above all, what a super friendly and welcoming staff! We met the three sisters running the restaurant. If we go back to Siracusa in near future, we know where to go!

A wonderful restaurant and a wonderful experience. The perfect place for dinner after a day touring around Siracusa. The food was creative while still respecting local roots with strong, clear and fresh flavors. The raw fish appetizer is really not to be missed. The service was warm, friendly and attentive and the ambience was calm and peaceful. The love that the three sisters have for this new restaurant and their work together really shows through on the plate and in the room. Highly recommend a visit.
