10/10Best food in all of Venice! We had Venissa, Le Calandre, and Antico Osteria Cera prior to this, and Dopolavoro blew them all about of the park! Don’t miss out. I would happily come back here (particularly for the amberjack). The cardamom sumac dessert reminded me of my childhood. And of course, the staff and presentation was impeccable. We left with happy hearts and full bellies.

9.5/10Taking a boat at sunset to arrive in an ideal romantic setting set the tone for a perfect evening. Food was scrumptious and staff was friendly. Look forward to coming again.

8.5/10The service at the entrance was very good, the service in the restaurant was too much. The speed of the courses was too fast and when we slow down they asked every time whether we did not like it. We would have liked more privacy. Way too expensive!!!

4.5/10Catastrophic fail by staff getting us back to the water is stop before the last boat left, costing us 95 for a taxi. Cannot reccomend this Marriott restaurant or property at this time.

10/10Incredible experience with wonderful food, very nice atmosphere and perfect service. We had dinner for our wedding anniversary and the team prepared a special cake for us, on the top of the dessert of the menu. The service is truly excellent and professional and the food is delicious: meals are prepared with ultra fresh products, the cuisine is sophisticated without being too complicated. The experience is simply great. Warmly recommended.

10/10Dopolavoro provided an excellent meal with which to cap off our trip to Venice. The service was excellent and the food was inventive and delicious. We chose the 5 course menu, which provided a nice range of dishes without being overwhelming. Our favorites were the red prawn dish and the ravioli. The only complaints (and this was something we found throughout Italy) involve the surcharges on our bill for various amenities, like a welcome glass of prosecco. In dining at similar restaurants in other countries, it is typical to be offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine; when offered, we were not given a price and so assumed it was free. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. Other than that, our visit was near perfect. I'd recommend again, especially if you're staying at the JW Marriott (with which the restaurant shares an island) and want a celebratory dinner

9/10This is at least a 2 star restaurant, but only has 1 officially. Outstanding, attentive, excellent service. Use of space is unique, make sure to take the garden tour. Worth the trip.

9/10The executive chef is a 2 star rated chef - so we had expectations... The food was good enough, but lacked depth of flavour. We ate at the chef's restaurant in Verona 3 days later - this was a much better experience with deep vibrant tastes befitting a 2 star chef. Also expensive, but much better value for money. This is not my first experience whether a starred executive chef has much better food in his own restaurant.
