1.when booked with the Fork with 20%DC, it seems that they try to over price the steak to compensate the difference. please do not order fiorentina steak here. Better not to have steaks but only pasta or appetizers when you visit with discount. 3. Atmophere of the restaurant is not in italy but somewhere in middle east or west asia. it made the genuineness of the food in question. 3.they serve the fiorentina T-bone steak pre-cut. didn't cut it in front of us. not sure that was real T-bone steak that we chose. 4.we booked on Sat. at 6pm. no one else in the restaurant but only us. Very unpleasant experience that we felt like having more than 100eur dinner in unpopular restaurant. We should have left it when we realized it. we would never ever visit this restaurant again.

The service was superb, the food was outstanding, and the wine was perfect. We happened upon this place one night and they fit us in, we loved it so much we made a reservation for the following night. The carbonara with truffles was outstanding, as was the traditional Florentine steak. We can’t wait until our next trip back to Florence, we will go back.

We were referred to this place as well as read many positive reviews, but we’re a little disappointed in that the owner seem to be the only one waiting on all the tables and he was pretty frantic. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with a table of six adults next to us and then a table With six adults and two or three children nearby and it was pretty noisy. The service was slow as the owner was working the entire room. Even though I had read that people loved the food and came back for a second night. I would not recommend it. The food was OK but nothing special in my opinion.

Signora, prima che andasse via le ho chiesto come si era trovata, e mi ha detto che ha apprezzato tutto ed era stata benissimo: nessuna frenesia, ma come lei ha riscontrato eravamo pieni. Orgogliosamente direi! C'è anche chi ha aspettato più di lei, la stessa sera. Non trovo il mio modo di servire frenetico, come appunto le dicevo eravamo in tre; credo che invece mal abbia sopportato i bambini, che comunque erano tranquilli. Se non si è trovata bene, la cortesia è di dirlo, quando vi viene chiesto.

We had Florentine steak at this restaurant which is recommended by our airbnb host. I am glad we went and enjoyed the food and service. It is very good and I love how the owner is very attentive with his customers. The steak is very tasty and it tastes like it melts into your mouth. Would recommend! :)

Loved everything about this place— the food, the service (graciously interpreting the Italian menu for us Americans), and the overall feel of it (friendly, warm, etc.). Totally worth it if you’re looking for a great, traditional Florentine meal!

The food is delicious - the steak is very unique. I especially like the service. The menu is all Italian. We were using Google translate to figure things out. The owner kindly recommended the right portion mixture to us when she thought we ordered too much for 3 person.

Skip this place, give your money to a worthy establishment. Owner responded to initial review with outright comical lies to cover their atrocious service after a tiny joke of a man was beyond rude about my order. Bring the paying customer what they order, period. Nobody cares about your opinion but I’m happy to voice mine about a lackluster restaurant, spend your money at the thousands of other superior restaurants within walking distance.

Buongiorno signor dimitrus, è la prima recensione che riceviamo con il suo nome, quindi non abbiamo mai risposto con bugie. Io titolare quel giorno non c’ero, quindi in nessun modo posso averla risposta o servita. Comunque detto tutto ciò, io conosco molto bene i miei collaboratori che in primis sono super educati e quindi mai si permetterebbero di far battute, e inoltre sono molto bravi nel spiegare il nostro menù sia in italiano che in inglese. Ora per aver migliore delucidazioni, e capire cosa le ha creato tutto questo fastidio ci può elencare cos’ha ordinato che non era come aveva chiesto? Cosa le ha dato fastidio?? Il nostro menù è corto, ed è volutamente così, per far assaporare i piatti della tradizione culinaria Toscana. Io mi auguro che non le abbiano creato problemi i prezzi, perché se per voi erano già alti bastava andar via senza consumare, oppure non è che ha chiesto la carne media o ben cotta?? Perché la mia cucina che sia un filetto, una tagliata o una bistecca la serviamo solo al sangue.

The staff was smoking just next to the entrance and I was forced to have my dish with cigarette smell while I’m not smoker… It wasn’t a good experience of having a typical Florentine dish.
