The setting was rural and reached by taxi. It was a cold evening and we were glad to eat indoors. We were the only people eating there when we arrived, and were later joined by another couple, and later still by a local family. The owners/staff were friendly but our lack of Italian and their lack of English made communication difficult. We were left unsure what we had ordered and probably could have ordered more satisfactorily had we been able to communicate better with them. The food was hot and satisfying. We would have liked to be there with Italian speaking friends and on a warm summer's evening.
