We were welcomed on arrival by Marianna and her son Enzo - lovely, friendly people! Dinner was outside at brightly painted tables with little lights hanging all around which made the space really charming. All tables filled; it’s clearly popular. The food was amazing. First of all a variety of cooked meats the family make themselves from their own farm animals, cheese, breads topped by various grilled vegetables and little bowls of a couscous dish, all presented very prettily. Followed by some home made foccaccia style bread. A mixed green salad with a very tasty dressing. Then various barbecued meats and finally chocolate brownie with apricot and a berry compote, all delicious. The coffee afterwards was good and Marianna then brought round some fruit liqueurs of her own making, mmm. All in all a thoroughly memorable evening and very inexpensive by British standards. Would definitely recommend!
