The waitress is super rude. We had reserved a table and arrived a few minutes earlier. Instead she insisted not to let us sit and had a super rude attitude towards us over here. It’s very disappointing to see that a restaurant with such good decor has very rude hospitality.

The loud music on poor quality sound equipment made for a bad experience. We asked to lower the volume, but the waiter said he didn't have access to it, despite other clients' complaints. He was kind and offered us a table outside

I have been a client of Água Pela Barba at their other location (Bica) for years and decided to visit this newly opened location. The menu is pretty much the same, except for a couple of items. The scallops were very small and the portion size of this dish could be more generous. The burrata with shrimp was pretty good. My favorite dish, which I always order, is the octopus. This time around, it wasn’t as soft as it usually is. However, upon mentioning this fact to one of the waiters, they took it off the bill, which was a surprisingly generous way of making up for a small failing on their part. This is the way to retaining costumers! It’s unfortunately very unusual in Portugal, so even more praiseworthy. Bravo!
