8/10This is a very popular, local Italian restaurant managed by friendly staff. The food is excellent and I highly recommend booking. This would have been rated higher but the service was a little erratic for us.

10/10We dined here two nights ago. The food was fantastic but our experience was not good because we were outdoors. We decided to come back tonight, requesting a table indoors. We are so glad we did. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, FROM BEGINNING TO END. We had a nice table in the main dining room. Service was perfect. Food was delicious. We had a thin crust diavola pizza, pasta with guanciale and tender braised oxtails accompanied by a pleasant Cabernet blend from Tuscany. Complimentary limoncello from the staff to finish. No room for dessert…next time…and, we can’t wait. Thank you, AI Cocci, for a wonderful evening.

8.5/10Food was excellent. We had a fried artichoke, a guanciale with fresh pasta, grilled lamb chops and osso buco. Each dish was well prepared and seasoned. Service was friendly but a bit uneven. The wine did not arrive until after our first course was cleared. The side dish we ordered never arrived. The ambiance was disappointing as we were seated outdoors with many smokers. We did request a table along a wall or window when we made our reservations.. I suppose we need to be more specific next time and request a table indoors. It almost ruined our evening, but the food was truly delicious.

10/10We travel to Rome often and this was our first time at Ai Cocci. It was superb. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious with a wonderful wine selection. And of course an exceptional grappa to finish the night. We will definitely return on our next visit to Rome. And you can make reservations in advance which is a big plus in Rome.

9.5/10We organized a dinner for 8 and everyone really enjoyed the traditional delicious food. There was a good variety of food offered, including vegetarian, and the food was fresh, flavorful and colorful. The caprese was reported to be the best ever and the carbonara was especially good.

Best pizza I had in our entire 3 week trip in Italy. Traveled top to bottom of Italy including Venice, Milan, Rome, Amalfi, Tropea, and Sicily and was incredibly surprised that this was my favorite pizza out of everywhere we went! I still dream about it… Great staff as well. They were super friendly and helpful.

We wanted to find a neighborhood restaurant and this was perfect. The service was great. The food was delicious! The portions were large and the cost was reasonable. I can’t wait to come back.

5.5/10I was really looking forward to this meal and thought it would be the best dinner in Rome after all of the reviews I read. We had 7:00 reservations and when we arrived only a few tables were full. I ordered a steak fillet medium and it was not even medium rare. I didn’t send it back but nor did anyone ask how our meal was. No one came to our table after our dinner was delivered. Other tables seated after us, were served faster than our table. Finally at 8:30, we asked for a dessert menu and then were told that both our dessert selections were sold out. I can only say we were disappinted
