Our dinner at Ai Navigli was most enjoyable. The food and service was excellent. The breads and breadsticks were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the mushroom infused Buttons with Mushrooms. It had a rich umami flavor that went well with the tastes of rare shrimp. I had the grilled octopus with cauliflower as my main dish, and my partner had the filet of fish which was a generous portion of amberjack. The accompanying vegetables were well prepared (see photos ) We share their delicious pain perdu for dessert. The friendly sommelier was attentive and helped get us a taxi. A great evening

The experience was good until they had an impromptu table for 14 want to sit. Unfortunately all the positives don’t compare to the 45 minutes of waiting for someone to come back to my table to ask about my (unconsumed) espresso or my (cold) latte/ milk. I had no service after they rushed to put the table together until I called for multiple servers. They politely comped the expresso but that didn’t account for my being late to other engagements because of their lack of attentiveness. I hate saying anything bad because the original server, sommelier and gal who helped me were excellent at first. The just tend to prioritize larger/ more money parties than individuals or small groups. Book at your own risk.

In my opinion this restaurant represents the triumph of style over content as far as the food is concerned especially since the food is rather pricey and frankly for the price rather uninspiring. Service was impeccable and the wine was reasonably priced and the ambience was fine. Not impressed in short but don't take my word from it !

Fabulous Seafood dinner in a wonderful, warm and comfortable place. Staff could not have been nicer and the food was exceptional - one of the best meals we have had during two months in Italy. Live piano music was a wonderful surprise to make a perfect evening.
