Highly recommend. Only 16 seats, so definitely make a reservation. Andrea is a one man show. Host, chef, sommelier, bottle washer. We ended up being there 4 hours chatting with Andrea, a couple from Liverpool, neuroscientist from Manchester, and a young couple from Italy. The food was wonderful, the wine flowed. It was like a dinner party at a friends house. Absolutely lovely.

We had a lovely evening here. It is a 1 man show and he is brilliant. Food was spectacular. Make sure to check this restaurant out and escape the tourist traps.

Once in a lifetime experience. Owner, waiter, cook and cleaner all one person. He was great but ask for wine prices and be patient. Food was great and service great!

The host (who is doing everything - sommelier, waiter, chef, ... he is alone!) is a very nice guy and puts a lot of effort: you have to give that. However prices are steep: as an example - an entree (a simple artichoke salad with pecorino) 25€... Basically there were no entries in the menu going for less than 25€. Coperto (service charge) 4.5€ (paper tablecloth). Food is simple and fresh, but it is something you could cook yourself at home (and I am no chef) for a fraction of the price. Service is definitely not fast (not a problem for us - we were not in a hurry) for obvious reasons. Note that in Venice there are numerous "cicchetti" places where you can have a nice evening experience and enough food to go home happy for 20€ (including a glass of wine and water). In conclusion: you still may want to go there because the host is nice and funny - but do not expect to write home about amazing food or price.

Perfect. On our trip we ate at some great places in Rome and Florence… this blew them all out of the water. Yes the food is great, but the owner/host/waiter/ chef Andrea is a one man band that makes you feel like you’re sitting in his dining room. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was excellent, with equally good choices of wine. It’s a must try in Venice, even just for some wine and antipasto.

Andrea cultivates a fun, warm and welcoming environment in his cozy restaurant. Every course was better than the last. I’m afraid tiramisu is ruined for me forever, because nothing will ever compare to this! Our favorite restaurant so far on our trip!

Andrea was a witty and charming host, and an excellent chef! This restaurant is a gem and the meal was our best in Italy this week, if not ever! Everything was very fresh and prepared as we ordered, and the asparagus, egg, and prosciutto appetizer was very special. Thank you Andrea for a lovely evening! The Mothers and Daughters from Alabama
