Food was very good. We ordered the tartar which was very good and the seafood main course was also really good especially with the fruit. However, the lobster linguine had a good taste but no lobster and only empty shells. Service was not so great either but they did take the dish off our bill since the lobster was not present.

Akua describes itself as a fine dining restaurant. However, it is pretty sad to see that they are very far away from the description. Quality service is decadent, dishes are allowed to leave the kitchen with "human hair". We ordered a bottle of water and a bottle of wine, the male waiter showed up with the bottle of water and he didn't mind opening it for us or pouring the water. Then when the wine arrived, at least the female waitress poured the wine into the glasses, but then no one returned to refill them. I asked the waiter and he stated it was not part of their standards to do that!!! Unbelievable, it is a restaurant, not a fast food place where you do all by yourself. Once the pasta dishes arrived, the waiter didn't even bother in serving the pasta as a gesture to the client. Then the worst part came when I found a hair in the pasta dish I ordered. it was disgusting, shocking, and disturbing, ruining my lunch experience. I lost my appetite right away. It was noticed only 2 waiters were doing the lunch service with a restaurant at 70% full capacity. Unacceptable, I was expecting to have a fine dining experience, but at the end of the way, the quality-price value rapport was not accurate at all. The only good thing they did was the no charge for the pasta dish due to the inconvenience with the hair. A good suggestion for Akua is to hire more staff and to train the personnel with real fine dining standards. Without quality control in the meals you are serving and poor customer service, you will only receive bad reviews.

It is a beautiful place, cosy but also elegant, The fish is fresh and the chef knows what he's doing! Thank you. Good wine list. In summer you can also dine outside in front of a beautiful dock.

Spaghetti with lobster is a real hit. The mixed grill was perfect but some side dish would have been welcome. The view was amazing and the ambiance was great.
