Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. We booked for my 60th birthday and on leaving I was given a gift. I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful restaurant.

Simply fantastic. We ordered bruschetta, bresaola, arrabbiata and moules. Thank you Jay and the team for the most wonderful service. Will return the next time we visit Paris from the UK.

10/10We were going to Moulin Rouge and had reservations at 6. Since they had just opened, we were the first table there- but this place quickly filled up and had a line out the door. This is a wonderful intimate restaurant for all ages with both great food and service..

2/10Disappointing Experience Despite Reservation We had made a reservation several days in advance, but when we arrived, we were told to leave the restaurant and wait outside in the rain while the waitress checked the reservation list. During this time, other guests were allowed to enter freely, and people without reservations were even seated before us. When our reservation was finally found, we were told there was no space for us at the original (A) location. We were then sent to a second (B) location, and after that to a third (C) one. By that point, we no longer felt welcome or valued as customers. Out of politeness, we decided to stay and order something, but the overall experience was very disappointing. We had expected much better treatment, especially after taking the time to reserve in advance.

10/10The owner greeted us, and gave us a small gift when we left. The food was excellent and the inside of the restaurant was charming. The limoncello along with the pasta was homemade. We will visit every time we are in Paris! Wonderful experience!

10/10We went to Al Caratello Sept. 24,2025 and had a excellent experience at this restaurant. Great location in the theater district. The owner greeted us at the door and we were seated at a table in the centre of the room. From the beginning the service was excellent as the servers were very attentive to our needs - they took our drink orders and did not rush us on our meal selection. Overall the meals were excellent - we had a bruschetta appetizer, raviolli and gnocchi main dishes. Before leaving the owner treated us to lemoncello shots which was very much appreciated. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Al Caratello.

10/10The owner greeted and seated us. He made sure we were comfortable and got us started before he went off to other in coming guests. Small but clean. Make a reservation because it fills up fast! The food snd drinks were outstanding, as were our waitresses. Very reasonably priced. After our meal the owner made a point of thanking my wife and I with hand shakes. The ambiance was great. Coming from America it was so refreshing to feel appreciated for spending your hard earned dollars. Wonderful experience. Thank you.

This place is an absolute gem! The food was unbelievable and reasonably priced. I’m Italian and I can’t believe I found my favorite Italian restaurant in Paris after visiting Italy last year. The owner, his wife, and staff were so welcoming.

5.5/10Very nice people and we were greeted well. Unfortunately from the time we were seated it took 45 minutes to get a drink and an hour until we had our starter served. From previous reviews we were looking forward to going there, unfortunately we left disappointed.
