Everything was awesome, from the welcome from the Chef himself to the server. The food was excellent from appetizers to main course, we didn’t have desserts. Being mid October, of course it was very quiet. We sat outside but inside setting is amazing. Dinner there was MUCHbetter than what we had in Amalfi the previous night. Highly recommended!

This was possibly our best meal on the Amalfi Coast. The location in pleasant little Cetara, away from the hoards of crowds in the more well-known spots, made it relaxing to approach. The seafood was fresh, and we had a large selection to pick from. Our waiter, Antonio, was a gem and so pleasant. This place was recommended by locals from Vietri and from Salerno. Do yourself a favor and choose this place. We went for lunch, and it was a clean, pleasant break in an otherwise busy day.

The Restaurant had just opened for the new season and it was really quiet when we arrived but we were made to feel very welcome. We ordered sea food: Ceviche, some anchovies, calamari and catch of the day (turbot). Everything was perfect and the waiters were attentive and helpful with recommendations. I highly recommend a visit.

The food was exceptional. Also the owner and staff were so friendly and we're wonderful in recommending what wine and dishes we should try. We had the anchovies with butter on grilled bread, stuffed anchovies with cheese and fried, and the local fish cooked to perfection. The fish was pillowy and soft. It was the best fish we have ever had and we live on the California Coast.

Absolutely worth it, not only for its exceptional cuisine but also for the attentive and caring service. Our enchanting evening at 'Al Convento' marked the beginning of our honeymoon in Amalfi. What started as a simple dinner outing turned into an extraordinary experience that left us overjoyed and immensely thankful. Meeting Chef Pasquale Torrente was truly a highlight, as his warm hospitality and culinary artistry made us feel like cherished friends by the end of the night. We will definitely be returning!

Recommended by an Italian friend of mine...what a beautiful place. Went there 5 times and was never disappointed. Every meal I had was first class and the staff were extremely friendly. Can't say enough how much I loved this place!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Not only did they completely ignore our table, but the food we received was subpar at best. The lack of attention from the staff made us feel unwelcome, and the quality of the dishes served was far below what we expected. It's unfortunate that our visit turned out to be such a letdown.

This restaurant and its staff were so good we are going back for a second night. Everything was excellent. It has been our best meal on a trip that has had only amazing dining experiences throughout Italy!

For a small town this was a lovely find. Great fish and dry aged beef steaks, cooked exceptionally well. The staff were helpful and lovely and friendly. We enjoyed so much we visited twice a d if we were staying longer in Cetara I'm sure we would have returned. A very interesting building too, mixture of exceptionally old and new contemporary that provided a lovely setting for two memorable meals

We heard great things about this local restaurant, but it seems like they just have a good public relation office. The dishes were little (in its size) and mediocre (in its taste) and they forgot to bring us the salat and french fries that wev'e ordered. It was disappointing due to the high expectations that we had.

The food is really nothing special. I don't understand why this restaurant is on the Michelin guide. It doesn't deserve to be there. I had a cevice which had so much onion that I could not taste anything else, and my breath was smelling for 2 hours after. My partner had fried baby octopus as starter, it was ok but was missing some dipping sauce. I had fried seafood for main, but you could feel how old the oil was that they fried it in, it had some anchovies were ok, but red mullets we're not small enough to be fried and eaten as is, so it was a lot of work to de bone them, and it only had few calamari rings, but no other seafood. For me it's definitely not worth the money.
