8.5/10We had a nice evening, super host and good quality food. The price/quality ratio for some dishes was not justified though. € 28,- for Spaghetti Bolognese, € 28 Euro for mísseis, of which 1/3 were empty is not fair.

10/10He is the perfect host. Very good food, perfect wine. Very friendly and humorous. We had dinner there also the next evening and had the same good experience.

10/10Fabulous view overlooking the cathedral. I had the spicy mussel starter which was sublime. We both had the cannelloni as a main which was also extremely tasty. The waiter was very friendly and he even made us a complimentary cocktail at the end. Thoroughly recommended

8.5/10Good food, odd menu & somewhat tired waiter. Downstairs didplayed menu had a lot more options than the menu received at the table and available on The Fork. Food was very tasty. Tuna steak was large & lovely! Although something on the side would be good for a little more taste variation.

7.5/10The food was good, and with the 50% discount, the price was reasonable for Italy. However, we were unpleasantly surprised when we saw the bill. We had asked for two glasses of wine “della casa”, only to be charged 15 euros per glass for wine that was far from good. Despite that, the view from the restaurant was nice, and the Indian waiter gave us a warm welcome, which made the experience a bit better. Unfortunately, the overpriced wine left a bad impression.

4/10If you're looking to take great photos and enjoy a nice view from the balcony, this place is perfect. However, if you're after authentic Italian food at reasonable prices, you might want to look elsewhere. The prices here are higher than average for the area, and the food and service doesn’t stand out.

2.5/10Awful experience. Beautiful spot ovelooking the cathedral, but that’s the only positive. Food was not nice - poor quality and didn’t taste good. Service was even worse - the guy who served us couldn’t remember anything, constantly was getting things wrong - not just for us, but other tables too. He didn’t care though. He was rather rude and unprofessional. Our main course took over an hour to arrive, and when it did arrive it was cold. I really should have sent it back, but I given that I was supposed to get 50% discount (for booking via For) I thought I’d let it go. Of course when it came down to paying I didn’t actually get any discount! 110 euros for 2 bowls of poor quality, cold pasta, one sharing starter and 2 glasses of not very good wine. Over 2 hours of being stuck there, waiting the food, then waiting for the bill. Worst experience in a restaurant, ever.

7/10It’s a beautiful location, we were offered a great table on the terrace overlooking the square. Service is friendly but a bit hit-and-miss (confusion over wine being an example). Portions are also too big - we had about three times as much grilled octopus as needed for starters, so reinforcing the impression of the restaurant being old-fashioned albeit generous. Given the location, could be time to upgrade the experience to something that is more special?

10/10Beautiful location; relaxing dinner on an outside terrace overlooking the square. Dinner was delicious— grilled octopus, muscles with white wine and garlic, pork ragu, spaghetti with clams. We will be back when we return to Taromina!

9/10The pasta à la Norma, which is made with fresh pussycat that was excellent, the Pulpo, which was supposed to be with parsley and potatoes was not quite what I expected. The parsley was like a pesto on the side. I thought it would be in a light vinaigrette, very traditional with fresh leaves of parsley did not really care for that particular dish. We spent €14 for water we were thirsty, I guess and the view was wonderful.

10/10I made a reservation through The Fork, but due to traffic in Taormina, we could not go to the restaurant. I called the restaurant and informed them that we would not be able to come. The next day, I made a reservation again through The Fork and stated that I would be very happy if I could have a table with a view of the cathedral. When we went to the restaurant, we were greeted very kindly. The view of the cathedral is the most beautiful. We saw that the table was reserved for us. Everything we ordered was perfect. The service was great and the view was magnificent. Thank you to all the staff who helped me and my wife have a very happy evening.

8/10The food is excellent and the proces are verry good. The service insted was medium. No recommandation for The food, no talking with us, and at The end when we just startimg to feel a little good and we are having a pleasent conversation The Walter came from nowhere with The Bill, even if our glasses were full. No respect, no bounding with The costume, only good food and good view.

10/10We reserved the balcony table which is the perfect location! The view is of the courtyard for The Duomo… a wedding had just taken place inside the church… is was so beauriful. We ordered the local catch of the day for 2! It was perfect along with a mixed green salad & a bottle of red wine suggested by our waiter!

4/10Very disappointed by this recommendation that a friend offered to us. The bathroom doors were dingy with dirt, the walls were scratched with marks, and the food was terrible. The shrimp with pink cocktail sauce was disgusting. The fillet of beef was a cheap cut of meat, over salted, and over cooked. The seafood soup was over salted. The only decent dish was the pasta. I don't understand the positive reviews for this establishment. Too bad to have spent so much money on an inedible meal.
