We have used here a good few times for eating in restaurant and take away and we find them excellent every time pizzas and pasta dishes equally as good and their chocolate cake is delicious would definitely recommend this restaurant

We came to the restaurant based on google comments, 4.7 is a very good score. A major disappoitment was the service. From beginning the bare minimum, and waiting time too long. After finishing dinner we waited more than 30 minutes to ask dessert and coffee. After asking one time to order and listen we need to wait, we saw several tables finishing after us, and going trough that process of ordering and eating dessert. It seemed several tables were known by the house and had "priority". Is normal that customers more regular are treated with care, but these situations are not acceptable (deprioritize others). So we gave up and paid what we consumed and left (with no excuse at all for the situation). Maybe we were unlucky on the day we came, maybe there are few employees for all July volume. But we will not return, neither recommend no one. Food was acceptable.

If you are looking for a great restaurant from starter to desert, and with great italian food that is not just pizza (but also includes that), this is the place. The best pesto, amazing stakes and salads, and a dedicated service. Just by the road before getting to the messy and overcrowded Portimão.

I didn’t realize that this is a family owned restaurant. And the family is truly committed to customer service. I did not realize until I set to go that the place was quite a drive away. My son and my husband were at the European Karting Championship and were too tired after the demanding day to go that far. The restaurant has an amazing owner and staff. Not only they confirmed when I called they could do takeaway but they were really fast when i got there, had me on my way back i 15 minutes. Much appreciated! We liked the taste of the food very much too. The only thing (something that we were warned is not unusual in Portugal, so not this restaurant’s trade specialty probably), all of the past was far from ‘al dente’.

We had a garlic bread with cheese to share between 3 of us….best I’ve ever had. All of us had pizza’s, the calzone was delicious as wee the others. 1 Aperol spritz, 4 pints of St Miguel, a large red wine and a Prosecco. Just over €60 . Boxed 3/4 of pizza as too much to eat in one go………..highly recommended

Quality of the food is very good. Staff is very friendly. Service very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant could be a bit better. It does not support the superb quality of the food. Best desert is de Bolo de chocolate!!! We would recommd al Fresco to anyone.
