9/10Such a nice place. The food was good but i felt like discussing a wine choice was a little too much trouble. No matter in the end the wine was excelent.

10/10Loved everything. The service was amazing and the marrow dish was one of the most spectacularly creative and delicious dishes I’ve tasted. Will absolutely be back for more when next visiting beautiful Trieste.

10/10We were a group of six for dinner and the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about wine choices with a great explanation of some local white wines and their origin. Service got a little slower to the end of the meal as the restaurant filled up but we were enjoying ourselves too much to mind. Highly recommended.

9/10The tasting menu was very very good. We especially enjoyed why pairing with the menu. Also, the whole ambience with only a few tables made the restaurant, cozy and enjoyable.

6.5/10May have been an off night, we ordered the tasting menu and the food was very mediocre. Place was not crowded and service was slow. Disappointing.

10/10Hidden away just off a walking path, this is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Their six course tasting menu was excellent and the sommelier suggested very good and interesting regional wine.

9/10Nice place. Young lady gave excellent service and the sommelier was very good. Menu was imaginative. First courses of guinea fowl and veal were superb. A shared carrot dumpling was interesting. My main of goulash was very good (a little fatty), but my wife's spaghetti with clams was inedible: fishy and too much salt. Should try again, but with care. Bottle of local bubbly and 2 glasses of still wine and dinner = @ E155.

7.5/10Almost perfect. Waiters did not offer finish to the meal/offer dessert, coffee or digestive. Too much time lapsed .. we got up to pay the bill.

Buonasera, Trovo esagerata la sua affermazione. Serviamo in media 60 persone a servizio e lo facciamo con attenzione e tempi che reputiamo giusti. Credo che se secondo lei non siamo stati attenti sul finale, bastava richiedere la nostra attenzione piuttosto che non prendere il dolce e poi andare a penalizzare una recensione per questo aspetto. 10/10We had such an incredible experience at Al Pete. We enjoyed the 10-course tasting menu and we were so impressed by the quality of the food, service, and wine list. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back on our next trip to Trieste.

9/10Place and service was super nice. We really like the food, the way how it was served and the trill of discovering the new tastes and combinations, Sweets in this place are excellent, we will definitely come back :)

6.5/10Discovered the place last year and went three times in a row as service and food were just perfect. Quite disappointed when we went back. We tried 5 dishes from the menu, finished only 1 which was good and actually sent one back. Service seemed a little nervous and hectic. Not sure if they changed the kitchen team or just need to get back into their old shape. I will try it again in a few months and hope they achieve their previous level of excellence.

Buonasera, ci spiace leggere la sua recensione e sinceramente siamo rimasti stupiti, più che innervositi, quando ha detto che non le piace il pesce crudo, ma aveva ordinato una tartara di gambero. Inutile dire poi che non le andava non crede?....comunque Siamo sempre noi stessi come lo scorso anno, lo Chef è lo stesso.

5/10In general the place is nice, but we waited over an hour for a pasta dish. Not only the food is rather expensive, but the portions are relatively small. I was expecting something more from this resaturant. Luckily the stuff is nice and the summer garden very cosy, but I'm not sure if I would go again

10/10We were referred by the hotel. Dinner was a signature pork dish recommended by the waiter, which was excellent. The service was very attentive.
