10/10Historical location, in an ancient palace. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the food. Tiramisù al foglietto (typical biscuit from Palestrina) recommended.

10/10Great location, plethora of food options, unusual ingredients, exceptional wait staff. The restaurant is in what used to be the ground floor of the Barberini Palace and, before that, the ancient temple of the Goddess Fortuna. You can see the ancient tiles as you walk across the plexiglass areas of the floor. From spring to fall one can dine on the terrace overlooking the ruins of the temple.

9/10I guess it all depends on what your expectations are when you enter any place you have no knowledge of. This is exactly inside Palazzo Barberini, the ancient temple of the Dea Fortuna Primigenia, one of the most amazing religious places in all antiquity, period. So, location? Just great without being overwhelming. Service has been gracious, punctual and courteous. The food has been a surprise. Without any excess, it has been simply very good. Not complicated or out of place. Discovered thanks to the Fork. Deserving a second visit when back to Palestrina.
