Nice meal with 4 different main courses and 3 different deserts. All served well and in a nice atmosphere. Second time we have been in a few weeks and really enjoyed it, obviously the 30% discount helped too!!

Wine took too long to arrive. Music too loud. Chicken with mushrooms was much too big - half portion would have been enough. Table lamp didn’t work.

We were a small group for lunch that was made to feel completely welcome as soon as we arrived, menus were explained and orders for first drinks taken. There was a good selection of fish on offer, Red Snapper, Sea Bass, and Bream. The fresh fish was presented at the table for selection and it was indeed very fresh! The service was quiet and attentive and everything was cooked perfectly and nicely presented. A very nice experience overall.

It’s great to see one of our favourite restaurants open again, we’ve being going here since 2002 and. I’m pleased to say the service, friendliness and food is still as good as ever. Highly recommended, unfortunately we didn’t realise it was back open until the end of this holiday but we will be visiting again when we’re next here. Thank you and we wish you all the success you deserve for the future

Really lovely restaurant . The steaks were amazing .and good value for money . Staff very attentive . It needs local support as we are very lucky to have this restaurant in our village of Santa Barbara de Nexe .

It’s the second time in a week that we have eaten at this restaurant the food has been amazing on both visits the turbot for two also the monkfish & prawn kebabs + the Lamb loin all cooked to perfection the waiters are all very attentive and welcoming would highly recommend this restaurant the food & service was brilliant so nice to see this Portuguese restaurant open once more.

T-bone steaks were cooked to perfection, mussels were very good and the sangria was great. Our usual waitress was friendly and as attentive as always. We would highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere, we sat outside and had a great meal. The garlic prawns and chicken skewers were delicious. We have been coming here for over 15 years, so really glad it’s reopened.

Exciting new restaurant! Staff where very attentive and very competent. The menu was varied and had some good different daily specials, A nice touch was the Bacalau cricket served in the couverture. presentation was sophisticated and wine list short but well thought out. Keep up the good work! We look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed our visit to Alagoas. The food was delicious and carefully prepared, with fresh ingredients and a beautiful presentation. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, perfect for a lovely evening out. A true gem and a wonderful addition to Santa Bárbara de Nexe. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back!

We shared a rack of lamb which was exceptionally tender and perfectly cooked. The service was very good and we were serviced by a lady from Nepal who was an absolute star. The only slightly negative aspect is a rather busy road next to the restaurant.

We met friends for dinner to try out the newly revamped restaurant. Overall, we had a very positive experience. The servers were very attentive, empty plates were cleared quickly, drinks were refreshed constantly. The various fish available were brought on ice to the table for review. Two in the party chose the red snapper (for 2) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Others had grilled chicken, chicken & mushrooms, and fried fish and chips...all were good. Special shout out to the steamed legumes and piping hot fried with skin left on. We sat on the western side and the AC was having a hard time keeping up with the setting sun pouring in through the windows. The main dining hall was cooler. There is a shaded terrace as well but several folks therein were smoking and two in our party are allergic to tobacco smoke. The wine list is nice, but pricey...perhaps several more lower priced options are needed. We would go back.

This restaurant recently re-opened under new ownership after being closed for many years. We visited the old restaurante regularly over many years. We weren't disappointed this time. The food and service were excellent. A bit more expensive than before but that was not surprising since everything has gone up since the last toime we were there. Being open on a Sunday for dinner was great. We will definitely go again.
