The waitor was nice and the food came quickly. The problem was the food. The risotto was tasteless, the pasta was too little coocked, the dessert was too sweet and the octopus was like chewinggum.

Dined there during the truffle festival so the menu offered was limited. Food and service was fine but nothing super special. Will have to try again when they offer the regular menu.

This is a hidden gem. The food is incredible and the brothers who manage the restaurant are thoughtful and knowledgeable when it comes to the food and the wine. We had the meal of a lifetime here and I cannot recommend it enough!!

We had a big dinner in Albamare. The check was 400 €. I decided to check all positions in the document and I found “coperto” for 102 €. When I asked the owner what was that, he answered “oh, so sorry”. That is all. This situation smells bad.

Not really a fish restaurant, I would say rather a common Italian cuisine. The service is good, friendly.

My wife and I both had the tasting menu. Not only was the food, creative and infinitely edible, but the service and ambiance captured the whole Piedmont experience. In a masterful way. Bravos

Wonderful food, wine, and service. Outstanding dishes to note were the calamari with squid ink, plin pizzicati a mano, and the sottofiletto alla griglia. Literally made our mouths water. The Poderi Roset 2015 Barolo was also fantastic, and so was our server. We will definitely be back!

Food was good. For the price we paid, I would have expected a more sophisticated and interesting menu, but altogether it cannot be faulted. Service was impeccable.

We visited the restaurant during Alba white truffle festival weekends. The town was very busy. The restaurant Albamare was busy too. However, their service was excellent and no rush. We enjoyed the seafood course with a bottle of wine. Foods were tasty and very fresh. Local peoples told me that it is not a traditional restaurant in Alba but still great place to eat. I would recommend highly.

We booked a dinner here because nothing else was available. Service was fair to poor, they forgot our wine and our water, generally slow but that’s to be expected for most restaurants in Italy. The food was disappointing, bland pasta and dry steak. The room was very bright for a restaurant at 8:30pm, no music, no real ambiance. They are trying to be upscale and modern, but missed the mark.

I booked via TheFork with the menu option, but when I came to the restaurant, I was told that it wasn‘t available anymore, and that it was basically the menu they have now for 38 Euro. So I ordered a la carte - the food was really good, and the waiter was an absolute sweetheart! Very nice evening, thank you!

The decoration of the restaurant is really beautiful, simple yet stylish. The risotto I took was delicious, perfectly cooked. The desserts were also really good.

Great experience! Food is excellent - it‘s worth visiting Albamare. The kitchen is „hidden champion“ in Alba. Relatively low prices for best quality.

Fine dinning, get the three courses, the chef has definitely got his own twist on things, it was a delight to try something different, on my jaded palete!
