Good food (the meat was cold though and it was sent back to reheat). Terrible service - one of the worst customer services I experienced. The space was noce but the tables were too close together and several people complained about this..

Although the food was good (not amazing) the service was very average and the staff were very cold and when it came to ordering dessert they said we could as kitchen was closed but they close at 3 and we ordered at 2:45. It was very rushed. Especially because it was for our birthday. They shouldn't accept a booking at 1;45 if they close the kit hen at 2:30/3. It was a very unpleasant experience it's a pity as we used to enjoy this restaurant but staff seem very unhappy and rude. Very uncomfortable. Will definitely tell all expat groups to avoid eating here

The dishes were all very tasty and felt true to Madeira. The typical Madeira desserts were well presented and an ode to the region. Great service, able to remain quick and efficient despite the packed house. We’ll be going back!

We ordered two dishes: sword fillets with banana and passion fruit sauce, and typical Madeira skewers meat (sirloin). Both were very tasty and the presentation of the dish was meticulous. The wine list is quite acceptable and they also serve typical Madeira drinks (beer, passion fruit Brisa, Poncha). The employees are attentive and friendly but with room to improve, eventuallyu due to the youth of the staff. Worth a visit!

Place is beautifully decorated, but found the food a bit overpriced, especially bearing it mind that it was good, but not great: tuna steak had to be sent back since it was under cooked and the octopus was tasty but a bit burnt. The desserts was very good but particularly pricey. My suggestion to management would be to lower their prices a bit, to attract more people from the neighboring area and to compete with neighboring restaurants (there are nearby restaurants that are better and cheaper).
