The food and service at the table was fabulous. However we were disappoited to learn that the restaurant never received our change if time from FORK and thought we had not shown up for our reservation. As. result we ended up being seated in the outside dining area, which was not our preference, especially since i was a cold eveing. The heaters were okay, but it was still uncomfortably chilly.

So amazing we went 3 times. Always full of locals amazing food and lovey service.

The food was delicious. The service was strange and disappointing. My wife's main dish came before her salad. We had to ask for the salad All of our food came before our wine. We had to ask again for the wine. That was not good.

It was a shame that we couldn't order much since there were only two of us, but everything was very delicious. The beef fillet, in particular, was exquisite.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We found a roughly 2 cm piece of metal or hard plastic in our soup, which is obviously concerning. We brought it to the owner’s attention—not to get anything for free, but simply so they were aware of a serious issue. His response felt dismissive, and there was no gesture to acknowledge the situation, such as removing the soup from the bill or offering a small courtesy like dessert or an amaro. Accidents happen, but how they’re handled makes all the difference.

The service was fine but the meal was mediocre. We had a memorable steak there in the past but clearly those days are gone. Fried artichokes were mushy and oily. The wine was good. Won’t likely return.

Unfortunately, our experience at All’Antico Ristoro di Cambi was quite disappointing. When we arrived, the staff could not find our reservation, which immediately set a negative tone for the evening. We were seated near the kitchen, a place where we could clearly observe the working area, and the level of hygiene was far below what we would expect from a restaurant of this reputation. The only truly positive aspect of the night was the service provided by Aljona. She was professional, kind, and a real pleasure to interact with—she deserves special recognition. As for the food, the quality was not good, and the quality-to-price ratio was even worse, making the overall experience feel unjustified for the cost. Sadly, this visit did not meet expectations.

The steak was tasty, but nothing special. The toasted potatoes were very oily. The wine by the glass was very small, maybe 4 oz. In total, the meal was just satisfactory and I would not recommend the restaurant.

Having relied on the reviews, I had expected a better food and service. Although, when we artived, literally all tables were free and I had made a reservation beforehand, we were offered a table with stools without a back. After a very long dat at the museums, we could not sit comfortable and enjoy our meal. I asked the host for another table or chairs, but to no avail. The food was ok, but nothing special. The attitude and atmosphere were disappointing.

We were celebrating an Anniversary and asked if we could check in early. We were told we could but only could stay for an 1 1/2 hr. It was very busy and the staff were running. Food was good but we felt very rushed the entire time.

+3I have been looking forward to having Bistecca alla Fiorentina for years and it did not disappoint. This was the greatest steak I have ever eaten!!! 🥩 Everything we ate was amazing and the service was top notch.

Hopped off the train and had lunch at Antico Ristoro Cambi. Zucchini blossoms with ricotta, followed by a Florentine steak, were just perfect.

Great choices on a lot of classics but you come for the steak and they got it. Outstanding experience, well executed and great food! Thanks all!

The staff were far too busy so service was unfortunately quite poor. Food was average (we had to send our food back as it arrived undercooked) and the atmosphere felt chaotic

I'll start with the most vexing thing. The bread was weird. Like really weird. Tasted the focaccia and thought maybe the oil was bad. Tasted the other bread in the bad and thought the flour was bad. I don't know what it was but both tasted like something about them was past it's date. I've never been served bread like that in a restaurant.The place is really nice looking and inviting.

We had this restaurant recommended to us by our wine tour guide of Tuscany. He advised the Florentine steak, which did not disappoint! Absolutely fantastic food and great service

One of the filets was very chewy/grizzly and very hard to cut, whilst the other was not. Overall it was an okay experience...

We come everytimw we’re in Florence. It’s just excellent. However, while their servers are so lovely, all the sittings seemed to arrive at once and they were so overwhelmed. Not their fault, they did their best and the food is worth it.

The food and ambiance was great but the service was outstanding. Elma guided us through dinner with perfection. She went over and above to accommodate our needs. Highly recommend.
