We were celebrating an Anniversary and asked if we could check in early. We were told we could but only could stay for an 1 1/2 hr. It was very busy and the staff were running. Food was good but we felt very rushed the entire time.

I have been looking forward to having Bistecca alla Fiorentina for years and it did not disappoint. This was the greatest steak I have ever eaten!!! 🥩 Everything we ate was amazing and the service was top notch.

The staff were far too busy so service was unfortunately quite poor. Food was average (we had to send our food back as it arrived undercooked) and the atmosphere felt chaotic

I'll start with the most vexing thing. The bread was weird. Like really weird. Tasted the focaccia and thought maybe the oil was bad. Tasted the other bread in the bad and thought the flour was bad. I don't know what it was but both tasted like something about them was past it's date. I've never been served bread like that in a restaurant.The place is really nice looking and inviting.

We come everytimw we’re in Florence. It’s just excellent. However, while their servers are so lovely, all the sittings seemed to arrive at once and they were so overwhelmed. Not their fault, they did their best and the food is worth it.

We went for the beef and while disappointed we couldn’t get the steak by the kilo (minimum order of one kilo would have been too much for us) we opted for other steak dishes — a filet and a tenderloin— that both were amazing, set off by the simple yet perfectly prepared sides.Our enjoyment of the food got a boost from the lively atmosphere and professional service.

We enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Cambi, because the menu is so extensive and staff so friendly. All their artichoke dishes we enjoyed are incredibly tasty (fried, stuffed with meat, with rabbit, and marinated with salad). Other outstanding dishes were the fried zucchini blossoms, eggplant parmigiana, incredible lemon sorbet. I splurged on their incredible white wine - Benefizio Riserva Frescobaldi - each sip justifies its price. The wait staff were super helpful and pleasant.

I made a reservation a month in advance. We were given a table that had 3-legged stools instead of chairs. Being elderly, I can't sit for a nice dinner on a seat with no back. We switched the stools for chairs that were at an empty table. The staff said we couldn't do that, we'd have to be moved. I noticed an empty table with chairs, but was told we couldn't have it because it was reserved. Our only option was to be seated outside, at least it was enclosed and nobody smoked. Why would a nice restaurant have tables with stools? Why was my reservation deemed lesser than one who hadn't shown up yet? It put a damper on my birthday celebration.
