The food smashing. Service overwhelmed waited an hour for any food to appear. When I asked for Mubarik discount as booked was told there was no discount -a disappointing result out of principle Felt abused

A traditional Milanese restaurant that hasn’t lost its charm. The fiorentina was outstanding and artichoke salad as perfectly seasoned as ever. The wine list allowed us to treat ourselves to a Sicilian white which we followed with a well-priced Barolo. The restaurant itself is a masterpiece of classic understatement where food and flavour are the focus.

If you are in the city centre you have to stop here to go back to the beginning of the 20th Century with its atmosphere and delicious dishes...

The manager/host was gracious, and accommodated is even though he couldn’t find our reservation, but the server was very rude. The food was good, but not remarkable. Would not go back nor recommend.

Food was good really enjoyed it but black mould on the wall (on top of the door) and cobwebs were of putting. Also the stuff was not welcoming at all.

The service was overall prompt and polite. However, there was some confusion when we first got there as we had seen my name on a table but they seated us further in and on a different table. We all ordered a fillet Mignon each (4 people) and all of the meat came out cooked as medium, but we had different orders on how we wanted it to be cooked.

This is my favourite place in Milan to go for meat, espicslly with The Fork discount. I can’t comment on the other dishes as we always take the meat, but the starters and desserts are delicious, so I imagine all the menu is too. Great service with elegant atmosphere without being obnoxious. Well worth it.

While definitely on the expensive side for a (rather fancy) trattoria, Alla Collina Pistoiese definitely deserves its notoriety for the very warm service and especially the truly exquisite food. All the dishes were delicious and the Fiorentina, while clearly not the hardest to make, was among the best I've ever eaten for the quality of the meat, including all the ones tried in Tuscany. The setting is quite understated but beautiful nonetheless, also thanks to the nice paintings hanging high from very thin chains and the gorgeous frescos underneath the arcs between the 3-4 high-ceiling rooms.

Amazing food, was not expecting such high quality. Waiting staff were lovely and very welcoming even though we did not speak much Italian. Only thing we felt was slightly uncomfortable was the silence, no music and the restaurant was quite empty so was quite awkward. However the food and staff were so lovely it made up for it. Would definitely recommend.

Had a shaky first time experience but second time was the charm. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly unlike the first time. Excellent wine selection. Great Cusine. Definitely going back and putting it on my list of favorite places to eat in Milan.

It took several minutes for stuff to figure out the name and the surname & the number of guests that we booked for.. After while they gave us the seat in the corner of toilet and the kitchen, even though most of the other places were free. The dishes were delicious and the waiter was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and positive, that we can not say about other members of staff. All in all we'd recommend it to Italians, but I doubt tourists won't enjoy it..
