We had lunch at Alla Fornace on a sunny Tuesday in December. We were seated in one of the huge windows--perhaps at a table that had been reserved for us. My first course was ravioli--a large course that was certainly suitable for a whole lunch. A shared plate of branzino was a special, so my husband and I tried it for our second course. The waiter brought out the whole cooked fish and accompaniments on a large platter, and on a side table, he de-boned the fish and divided it and the vegetables in front of us. Everything was so fancy and delicious, and the setting in the old factory on the water is spectacular.
