+1From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel special. The staff are all delightful, attentive yet unobtrusive. Chef Juan visited every table. Each dish on the a la carte menu that we had was stylishly presented and a delight for the tastebuds. The cheese selection was a superb mix of local, Spanish and French accompanied by a very delicious fortified wine. Without doubt, one of our top 5 dining experiences.

Lovely welcome and staff throughout, even meeting the wonderful chef himself! Food of the highest standard, accompanied by an excellent red wine. Our first visit but will certainly not be our last!

10/10We very much enjoyed our lunch experience at Almo. We ordered A la carte and the food was delicious, we could not fault the quality and imagination of something so beautiful in taste and presentation. The detail was amazing. Chef Juan came to the table which was a nice touch. We had impeccable service from staff and particular thanks to Sergio our waiter who looked after us well and a good sense of humour. Highly recommend this restaurant for what was an exquiste experience and at a very reasonable price. Well done Almo.

Excellent food and ambience. We ordered the tasting menu which consisted of 14+ dishes. Really delicious stuff like the coconut ajiblanco or the Cornish hen. It absolutely deserves the Michelin star that they have. Outstanding place for a special occasion.

We had a disapointment about speed of food. We ordered two bottles of serious wines, which should indicate enough that we have time. Within 30 minutes we got the maincourse while the first wine was not ended yet. They say sorry, but no compensation like free coffee or friandises at the end. We are just bloody tourist I suppose ,but in fact we come at the best places in the world. Is this because of we having shoppjng bags or because we have our son with us (17). We donot understand.

Hello Pieter. We understand that we made no mistake in serving you the main courses after you finished your starters. We thought it was a misunderstanding, and in our desire to please you, we apologized at the time for your indignation and anger. But the reality is that you did not warn us, as you did before tasting our cheeses and desserts. We know that you have visited high-class restaurants (as you informed our sommelier on several occasions), but for us that does not change anything, we treat locals and tourists the same and we do not make distinctions between adults and 17-year-olds who behave correctly. in our restaurant, as was the case with his son. Regarding inviting you to coffees, we honestly didn't think it was necessary, but you didn't mention the glass that cost much more than your coffees (€25 plus VAT) which you broke, we don't know how, during the meal. We are sorry that your experience was not 10, because that is the only objective we have with all our clients. All the best, Almo Restaurant

10/10The quality of food and service are truly excellent. There's a Chinese expression that describes the beauty of music, saying that it's ethereal or heavenly. I think it would be entirely reasonable to say that the lunch we had was one that belongs to heaven. Well done and many thanks.

9.5/10Lovely meal tonight in alma mater. There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed the evening immensely. Food was top quality and the service was excellent. Even our chef Juan joined us after the meal for a chat. Highly recommend.

10/10The food and service are excellent. The personal attention provided by the staff and the Chef was appreciated. The only negative thing is the location without parking. The restaurant should warn clients beforehand and suggest parking in an underground area at 5 minutes walking distance

9.5/10Interesting and largely effective fusion of traditional Mediterranean cuisine with exotic ingredients, served by many (including the chef himself!) for a reasonable price. Comfortable, if rather minimalist locale, smack in the town centre.

10/10This restaurant fully deserves its Michelin star rating. From the booking to arrival, service, food, choices, staff efficiency and pleasant professional service, our visit was exceptional . We are so delighted we chose this restaurant and will certainly be back again. To all the staff from front.of house to kitchen, well done.

+3It seems that they are still a bit unfamiliar with their changed status. The service is actually and absolutely no different than in other normal good restaurants . For some dishes , a little more balance is needed. Especially the ratio between sauce , seasonings and main ingredient could be better . But I do think they will evolve and learn from what they make. The wine list was an absolute must with a good balance of top wines from a bit everywhere .... What also bothered us was the direct heating and ventilation that created a constant wind! The "timeless" and "beautiful "pipe system with an industrial look is too direct and ok for businesses where you only have to be in for 20 minutes!
